It's too early in the day for even a lush like you to be drunk, so I'll just assume you're an idiot.Tiernan;1689628 wrote:well that comment from the nose bleed seats made no sense at all but thanks for playing... -
TiernanWell then you would assume wrong...been proven many times I'm the resident genius of the OC. And once again Thanks for Playing.

IggyPride00Pettine/Farmer should be ashamed of themselves.
They are cutting Shaw's legs off before he even has a chance to walk by suspending Gordon for the finale.
If I were Shaw I would refuse to play and tell Pettine to suit up himself if he wants to send him out there with no one to throw to against a defense that will already have it's ears pinned back.
These 2 buffoons are running a romper room operation and it is an insult to Browns fans everywhere if they are allowed to keep their jobs in the face of such incompetence.
I knew Pettine was a loser the second they hired him, and he managed to turn a winning season into a 5 lose skid to finish under .500 for the millionth year in a row.
It's time to take the trash out, and it starts with Mike. -

Suspending Gordon is actually a great move, but it wouldn't have happened without Gordon giving them a reason.IggyPride00;1689714 wrote:Pettine/Farmer should be ashamed of themselves.

Hardly. It is a weak attempt to try and look like a bad-ass. That's been Mike's problem all along.Suspending Gordon is actually a great move
Suspending Gordon gives him about as much credibility as coming out in the middle of practice and delivering a jackhammer to him. The guy is already a Goldberg impersonator, might as well just live the gimmick.
Suspending Gordon now is too little too late and only cuts off the knees of your rookie QB. The team knows that Mike is impotent and doesn't know what to do at this point to stop the bleeding.
Jimmy is the only one with the power to put a stop to this ongoing embarrassment. -

Funny, Hoyer managed to go 6-4 without having anyone to throw to.IggyPride00;1689714 wrote:Pettine/Farmer should be ashamed of themselves.

It pushes back Unrestricted Free Agency back a year for Gordon. Great business move for the Browns.IggyPride00;1689720 wrote:Hardly. It is a weak attempt to try and look like a bad-ass. That's been Mike's problem all along.

I didn't realize he was still a rookie.GoChiefs;1689721 wrote:Funny, Hoyer managed to go 6-4 without having anyone to throw to.
I thought he was a 29 year old 6th year veteran who should be far more prepared to play than a rookie.
My bad. -
Dr Winston O'BoogieJimmy is the reason they're saddled with Manziel as it is. Hoyer's poor play coincided with Alex Mack's injury. i think losing Mack was devestating to the offense. Hoyer, or anyone elese, would have struggled without that type of veteran leadership out there. Hoyer played well for awhile - never flashy, but consistent. He is an NFL veteran who was mentored by the best. He didn't all of a sudden forget how to play the position. But because ownership wanted their novelty on thfield, we now have a franchise that has sent the message to any future QB that when you have a bad game, you'll lose your spot.

IggyPride00We hired a professional wrestler impersonator when we needed a credible head football coach.
This is why people laugh at the Browns.

Yes, a 6 year vet with a whole, what, 4 starts under his belt going into the season? Don't act like he was some kind of fucking seasoned veteran or something.IggyPride00;1689724 wrote:I didn't realize he was still a rookie.

A bad game? The guy was HORRIBLE for 6 straight weeks. And "saddled" with Manziel? Maybe...just maybe...Manziel will be as good as the HOFers that I cited on the other thread. You know...guys that played a lot worse than Manziel did when they were rookies.Dr Winston O'Boogie;1689725 wrote:Jimmy is the reason they're saddled with Manziel as it is. You "7 quarters" know-it-alls crack me up.
Manziel outplayed Hoyer in the preseason and the job should never have been gift wrapped to the undrafted free agent that was cut by 3 NFL teams. Because of that, Johnny's rookie season and the growing pains that go with it will be next year instead of in the rear view mirror behind us. -

How many more Browns threads you gonna ban me from because my opinion differs from yours? Enjoy your power trip.GoChiefs;1689731 wrote:Yes, a 6 year vet with a whole, what, 4 starts under his belt going into the season? Don't act like he was some kind of fucking seasoned veteran or something. -

And can we please stop calling shaw a rookie as if he's being asked to start game 1 of his rookie season.GoChiefs;1689731 wrote:Yes, a 6 year vet with a whole, what, 4 starts under his belt going into the season? Don't act like he was some kind of fucking seasoned veteran or something.
It's fucking week 17 in a meaningless game. -

Third-string QBs typically do get a ton of opportunities to prove themselves so this is pretty good advice.IggyPride00;1689714 wrote:If I were Shaw I would refuse to play and tell Pettine to suit up himself if he wants to send him out there with no one to throw to against a defense that will already have it's ears pinned back. -

Don't give me that shit. You are the only mod to ever post on Browns threads. Iggy Pride and I don't agree with your opinion on the quarterback...so wham!!! with the right hand. News flash Wedgie. I'm far from the only mod thay posts on Browns threads. I know I've seen Heretic and SE both post just recently. I'm sure TS has too, but keep on being in denial!Footwedge;1689808 wrote:Don't give me that shit. You are the only mod to ever post on Browns threads. OK, this will be a lengthy post, but hopefully it will clear up any confusion your slow ass has.
Read it slower this time. This is only about the 10th time you've been told that I can't ban you. Wait, is it because you don't have any pictures to look at?? Is that why this concept seems so hard for you to grasp? Let me fix that!
Ok special one. See the pictures below? Let me spell this out for you so that HOPEFULLY you can finally understand and you can STFU about it. Read it slow now so it can fully sink in as to what you're being told.
See where under the "Moderator" list it says "Football"? Now don't get it excited! It is in no way a reference to Johnny Football. Calm down. What that means is, the forum I moderate happens to be the "Football" forum. In order to do any moderating outside of that forum, including banning your slow ass, I would have to be on the "Super Moderator" list.
Now, read that last sentence again. Maybe even 3 or 4 times so it completely sinks in. Look at the next picture. See what it is? I even underlined it for you. It's a list of the "Super Moderator's" on this site. Now, see my name on that list? No? You don't?
Let me tell you again what that means slow fella, that means, wait for it, wait for it....I COULDN'T BAN YOU EVEN IF I WANTED TO. Let's face it though, I wouldn't ban you even if I could. The amount of stupid you throw around this site is pure comedic gold. (Need a sidekick Sherm?)
Now, STFU about it and tell us how if the Breowns beat the Ravens, they will be the Super Bowl champs! -

Manziel had the entire season to prepare for his starts, and he hadn't even learned the offense well enough to call the plays in the huddle. It will be interesting to see where Shaw's development is at compared to Manziel'sSportsAndLady;1689778 wrote:Reading comprehension. He is a rookie, yes.
