Browns @ Falcons

Gee, I don't know....maybe because the Falcons have a top 10 offense, which is number 6 in pass offense, two very good (one elite) receivers and the Browns have no pass rush? Just because the Falcons have a shitty defense, that doesn't mean their pass offense can't still light up the Browns secondary. If they give Ryan all day to throw, he's going to pick them apart.SportsAndLady;1676485 wrote:Lol @ you continuously saying the Falcons passing attack is going to "torch" us
Browns are 11th in passing defense they don't really get torched in the air.
The Falcons are 4-6 and have one of the dumbest coaches in the NFL -

I was unaware.se-alum;1676498 wrote:Good to see Cameron back practicing. I feel like the Browns will pull this out for some reason. -

I realize its Cleveland, but Houston is not that bad of a team, and if they win this week they will be in the thick of things. The Chiefs just lost to the worst team in the NFL, shit happens. I just don't see how a loss to houston (who is a horrible matchup for the browns) is going to equate to us getting torched for 35 points. Other than the first few weeks, the browns defense mostly has not been torched for that many points.
Except for (maybe) Pittsburgh (and they really didn't have a WR emerge opposite of Brown until AFTER they played the Browns), what team has the Browns faced with a set of receivers like this? Couple that with the fact that the Browns have no pass rush and the Falcons have a third option with Devin Hester (300+ yards receiving). If the pass "rush" doesn't fluster Ryan, he will have his way with them. -

The Browns didn't have a pass rush in the Houston game. The pass rush hasn't been horrible all year.BR1986FB;1676499 wrote:Gee, I don't know....maybe because the Falcons have a top 10 offense, which is number 6 in pass offense, two very good (one elite) receivers and the Browns have no pass rush? You're panicking. Relax. -

Saints with Jimmy Graham. I find the multiple WRs to be an overrated approach for a football team. All you need is one star WR, and the rest of the WRs need to be solid. There is only one ball between all the WRs. Could they get torched sure (especially without pass rush agains the worst line in the league), but the sky is falling feel to this thread is annoying. The Falcons are 4-6 for a reason. The browns should beat them.BR1986FB;1676505 wrote:Except for (maybe) Pittsburgh (and they really didn't have a WR emerge opposite of Brown until AFTER they played the Browns), what team has the Browns faced with a set of receivers like this? The only way Julio "Burns" Haden for a Td is if he breaks out on a bubble screen. I dont have the advanced statistics but i do know that we are one of the worst teams in terms of throwing down the field. Our pitiful line doesnt give Matt Ryan time for deep routes or double moves to develop. So itll be a heavy dose of checkdowns, bubble screens and slantsBR1986FB;1676453 wrote:I'm calling....

Browns defense won't be able to stop the Falcons WR's. After thinking about it more, I don't think Haden will keep Julio Jones in check. I don't think Jones will go off but I do think he burns Haden for a TD. I don't even want to think about the Roddy White/Skrine/K'Waun Williams matchup.
I will say that in the dome, it wouldn't be a bad time to throw in some Manziel packages to mess with them. Not a lot, just a few. -

Hester is the 4th option, Douglas is our slot Wr. And you're really underestimating how terrible our offensive line is lolBR1986FB;1676505 wrote:Except for (maybe) Pittsburgh (and they really didn't have a WR emerge opposite of Brown until AFTER they played the Browns), what team has the Browns faced with a set of receivers like this?
