Im talking 3pt shooting only.Dr. KnOiTaLL;1700494 wrote:I would say this probably has a lot to do with it, I feel the same way. However, his season numbers really aren't that bad (as bad as I think they are anyways).
Expected everything else to drop, but his distance shooting should be up with the open looks he gets. It's one of the biggest attributes he brings to the Cavs. -

You're observant, he's dipped from beyond the arc. His shot seems slightly flatter than normal. I don't think his back's right. I'm hopeful the All Star break will do some good for him, but he probably won't be right until after the season. I would like to see him get a few random days off to keep the back as fresh as possible.Laley23;1700496 wrote:Im talking 3pt shooting only.

Ironman92Always thought he was best from about 19-21 ft.....

GOONx19Wasn't he 4/5 against the Thunder on Sunday?
-
like_thatKyrie just took over the 4th quarter. Need one more defensive stop.
-
Ironman92Smith and Shumpert were useless tonight. Marion was solid. Love and Thompson shot terrible but rebounded.
That effort won't get it done in the playoffs, but happy to see 7 in a row and LeBron/Kyrie is as good as it gets. -

Don't forget he's still an elite rebounder and passer. His passing ability really surprised me.Laley23;1700496 wrote:Im talking 3pt shooting only.

Lol. Probably as I couldn't watch. I swear, I've only seen single digit makes from him and 50+ attempts. It's unreal.GOONx19;1700520 wrote:Wasn't he 4/5 against the Thunder on Sunday? -

Im not really bashing him. Just thought his poor shooting was a shock. The passing is no surprise if you've followed him since HS, but I understand very few have lol.Commander of Awesome;1700534 wrote:Don't forget he's still an elite rebounder and passer. His passing ability really surprised me. -
Ironman92That pass on the inbounds after a make....a line drive two-handed chest pass about 70 feet just over the defenders hand right to LeBron ...insane, most guys in the league wouldn't get that trajectory past 1/2 court

FootwedgeLove continues to disappoint. Shooting is way off this year.

I hope he leaves honestly. He's not worth a max deal and that's what he's going to demand. I'd rather try to do some trades with him and get a decent piece back in Cleveland.Footwedge;1700545 wrote:Love continues to disappoint. Shooting is way off this year. -

I could be wrong but I think since he has a Player Option, the only way they can trade him is before the trade deadline in a few weeks.sleeper;1700551 wrote:I hope he leaves honestly. Let him walk, sign TT to the deal that he wants? Starting 5 of Kyrie/Shumpert/LBJ/TT/Mozgov?...Smith can also walk away from a 6.4M option. Marion is retiring and Miller might also.
IMO, Love opts in and Thompson walks. -
Commander of Awesome
I like TT, but a lineup with him in over Love isn't better. I'd rather have Wiggins, said from the beginning, but our bed is made. Our best team at this point is with Love on it. Stop being stupid.sportswizuhrd;1700554 wrote:I could be wrong but I think since he has a Player Option, the only way they can trade him is before the trade deadline in a few weeks.

Fun Fact: Since last Monday's game vs. Bulls, #Cavs have NBA's 3rd-ranked defense in FG percentage. Holding last 5 opponents to 40.2%.
Granted we've only played one quality opponent in that stretch.... -
sleeperI hope we let TT walk depending on the price. I'd like to keep him but not at a huge deal.

I don't think he was saying that's what he wanted, just throwing out the scenario.Commander of Awesome;1700558 wrote:I like TT, but a lineup with him in over Love isn't better. I havent looked after the transactions, but I think the team will have some alright flexibility next season with the cap increase and some player options (I know Haywood's contract is like 10 mil non guaranteed. Maybe JR walks and Mike Miller retires. Finding shooters isn't as tough or expensive as finding an all-star. Don't forget Andy...who I really like, but with his expensive contract, his last day with the franchise should have been over long ago. I really like the makeup of our team right now minus probably an upgrade at backup PG.
Do what you can to keep Love. He hasn't been as great as many would have hoped and clearly needs some rest, but there are only so many chances you are going to get a game with Lebron, Kyrie, and now JR on the team... -

You know, a lot of people have commented about Andy's expensive contract weighing us down. However, I'm certain Andy was a HUGE reason LeBron came back. He said that he's one of his favorite teammates ever. Just pointing that out.Pick6;1700578 wrote:I don't think he was saying that's what he wanted, just throwing out the scenario.

I agree with this, he seems to be having back issues which is affecting his jump shot. He's still a demon on the glass and consistently gives effort and has gotten better on defense in the post. He's still averaging like 18 and 11 and hasn't even shot it consistently yet, he will be 20 and 10 before the season is over, can't find many players of his caliber in the world.lhslep134;1700500 wrote:You're observant, he's dipped from beyond the arc. I was wrong on wanting to make the trade for Love. He was nothing more than a volume shooter on a bad basketball team. His shooting percentages over his career are mediocre and this year his numbers are even worse. Should have held onto Wiggins. Don't buy into the bad back argument at all. He squares up, jumps, releases and clanks. 33% from distance would warrant me as the coach to shut down that part of his game.sleeper;1700551 wrote:I hope he leaves honestly. He does well on the defensive glass but I would classify the guy as being soft. Rarely if ever does he block a shot or protect the rim. This is Kyrie and LeBron's team with a bunch of role players. Hope still springs eternal in that they could win it all this year. Kyrie and LeBron are that good. -
Lovejoy1984Love with 10pts already, still 5m to play in the first quarter.
Looks like he's getting more air on his shot and they are falling. -
Lovejoy1984Damn Kyrie is feeling it tonight, seems to be bringing it on both ends.

Since LeBron's return I have noticed a very good defensive effort and great court energy.HighRoller74;1700825 wrote:Damn Kyrie is feeling it tonight, seems to be bringing it on both ends. -

For whatever reason i've had quite the player jinx recently, though I've been dead on when it comes to teams, and predicting outcomes.Ironman92;1700829 wrote:Would like to see a Kyrie 57 point game
