But seriously, I think its in their best interest to pull a Spurs. Suck for a year, get a top pick with George coming back. -
FootwedgeCouple of crappy quarterbacks who have no chance of winning a super bowl going head to head in windy, rainy conditions. The national audience is going to be treated to an offensive shitfest.

Damn thats bad -
robj55Can't believe how much Kawhi Leonard was over hyped after the finals, talks of being a max player and a future superstar. Nothing more than a really good defender and good all around player who plays in a great system with hall of famers around him.
-
KB0938I think hes a borderline all star, but def not worth a max contract.
-
robj55
He averaged like 13 and 6 last year, he's a good defender but you could throw in a multitude of different SF's in his spot and they would just as or more productive. More of a product of a system than anything imo.KB0938;1671566 wrote:I think hes a borderline all star, but def not worth a max contract. -

I Shoulda phrased it differently. Think he will be***robj55;1671575 wrote:He averaged like 13 and 6 last year, he's a good defender but you could throw in a multitude of different SF's in his spot and they would just as or more productive. More of a product of a system than anything imo. -

Yeah possibly, he is only like 23, but there are a ton of other SF's I would take over him.KB0938;1671580 wrote:I Shoulda phrased it differently. Think he will be*** -
Laley23It would definitely be a gamble that he turns into one. Spurs will need younger blood soon, and giving him a max is gambling he is your next Ginobili...

robj55
No way they will throw him that type of money, that organization is too smart and savvy for that.Laley23;1671589 wrote:It would definitely be a gamble that he turns into one. Spurs will need younger blood soon, and giving him a max is gambling he is your next Ginobili... -

I agree. I'm saying that's the thought process of why he is looked at as a max guy. I don't think the spurs think that way though.robj55;1671598 wrote:No way they will throw him that type of money, that organization is too smart and savvy for that. -
MulvaDo you guys really think if he gets a max offer that the Spurs won't match? I'd be shocked.

Depends on how this year goes, but is be shocked if they didn't.Mulva;1671680 wrote:Do you guys really think if he gets a max offer that the Spurs won't match? I'd be shocked.
Hell, Eric Gordon was matched by NO lol -
sleeperKL is not worth a max contract.
-
Mulva
He's not, but a max contract now will look ok in 2 years when the salary cap jumps by 1/3. A $15 mil deal will have the same impact as $10 mil this season.sleeper;1671816 wrote:KL is not worth a max contract. -

wildcats20Thunder have 2 chances to run sideline inbound plays and the first results in a 5 second violation(legit call) and the 2nd went for a bricked Ibaka 3 pointer. Miss KD and Russ yet??

Commander of AwesomeWatching Den/TB, curious to see Den against another team after the Cavs gave them the business Friday night. Equally unimpressed with them so far. Basically Faried/Lawson and a bunch of players who use to be good (Wilson Chandler, Gallinario, Robinson). Not a good team. Cavs need to show me again.
