Doesn't look like many of the 1st round series will amount to much now with all 5 of them that have 2 games in being 2-0!

Really entertaining game. One thing that I thought of while watching this game (and Cavs), Rondo and Love are the Lakers' savior? LOL

No real fan of the Lakers wants Rondo.

Rondo has completely fallen off, looks like a shell of his former self. Probably not even a top 15 pg anymore.
  • friendfromlowry
    Scott Brooks out
  • Lovejoy1984
He's the 3rd best PG On his team. It's safe to say he's not a top 15.

Interesting. Wasn't on twitter at all today to check the rumors. So that's it? Just Donovan? Has Kevin Ollie been linked at all?
  • SportsAndLady
All I saw on Ollie was that he was happy at UCONN and wouldn't be interviewing for NBA jobs.
  • Laley23
Ollie and Donovan with Cal as another I have seen.

Ollie preemptively turned it down. But, Donovan has don't nothing to dispel the rumors. I think he bolts...

I don't see any way he doesn't go if he gets the offer. Will just depend on whether he's actually the #1 choice.

If ever a job is open that is too good to turn down, its OKC with Durant and Westbrook (even if only for a year).

Doesn't Donovan have some experience working with Westbrook and Durant from Team USA workouts and camps? I know Donovan coaches the U-18 and U-19 but I feel like I read somewhere he helps out with the senior team summer stuff as well.

Not really going anywhere with that, just that it's better for both parties if that's the case than if Donovan had no experience with them.

He has coached USA Basketball at the younger age groups. But only recently, so neither wouldve been on his teams. However, I am not sure on his assistant duties/camps/workouts etc. Only the head coaching stuff from the past few years.

You're likely not going to get a better NBA opportunity coming out of college. I think this is exactly why Calipari hasn't seriously considered it. If the right time came, I think he would consider coaching LeBron, Davis or Wall.

Billy Donovan and Sam Presti are friends I believe.

Yeah I realized I knew that so I edited my post. No idea either if he helps out with the Senior Team

    K. Leonard named DPOY. Such a joke. Overrated defensive player.

Overrated in general, people calling him a superstar is ridiculous. He's a really good all around player but far from a superstar.

I wasn't even aware people were labeling him a super star. If true, that is a billion times dumber than saying Harden is a MVP.

I've heard a ton of analysts call him a super star, a super star is someone who carries a franchise and puts them on their back, he's nothing close to that.

Christ. I think he's a decent player, certainly above average, but he's top 26 at best.
  • Commander of Awesome
Harden FG% last 3 post seasons, below 40%.

    MVP! MVP! MVP!

Dude averages 17 and 7 while playing the best defense in the league. How many people can legit guard Bron and Durant... He'll get a max offer in 2 seconds
