Browns @ Jags

  • Commander of Awesome
Not taking the pts at the end of the 1st half was the turning point. Just fucking stupid.

Everyone calm down. It's the nfl. These types of games happen, especially with a new head coach.

Holy fucking embarrassing. Got our asses whooped. Another game or two like that from Hoyer we might be talking QB change.

I have a feeling if next week like that the fans will be calling for a change but the front office will stay put and back their confidence in Hoyer...but 2 more like that and I'm thinking they make the switch.

All true Cleveland Brown's fans should be clamoring for a change in the QB position as soon as possible. With young Johnny at the helm I can't see this team losing another game for possibly the next 10 years straight. I haven't always been the biggest supporter of this great ball club but I can recognize talent when I see it and believe me this squad is loaded with talent.
just in case y'all missed it the first time. In fact I may just keep repeating this post until the front office finally realized how fantastic Lil' Johnny really is and how he should be playing every down of every game.

As a Browns fan clearly I am not happy they lost, but thank God Hoyer was finally exposed nationally as the player I have been trying to tell everyone he really is.

He is a me-first, cancerous primadonna that is never going to lead a team anywhere. The sooner he finds his way to the pine the better so that we can get on with building the franchise into the winner all of us fans really want.

Browns can take a lot of good out of this game and use it for motivation going forward that you cannot overlook anyone. I still think they finish with 10 wins and maybe a WC behind the Ravens.

    No you don't.

Our Oline got their asses kick. And I strongly believe they will struggle the rest of the year with Alex Mack out. I don't know if Hoyer had a bad game or defensive coordinators are finally going to figure Hoyer out. Guess we will find out this week

Hoyer has had quite a few bad 1st halves this season. We didn't harp on it much because he would then come out and play an awesome 2nd half. If they lose these next 2 games against the trash of the league they need to just put Manziel in.

Agreed. At that point season is over. But, as long as you are in contention, you have to keep the rookie on the bench.

    Agree 100%.
Even in the big wins, like against the steelers, his % wasnt that good. Hit a few big plays and bam. He needs to throw with more accuracy in today's NFL..
It is getting to that time of the season where opposing teams have enough film on the players and coordinators and their tendencies. Just look at the bengals. Buddy said it looked like the colts knew what was coming. Time for the offenses to look internally at their own tendencies to see if there are any cues they are giving as to what play is coming.

I said they most likely would go 2-1 in this three game cupcake stretch, and they still can. When teams get embarrassed, like this, they usually come back stronger. That is why I am expecting the steelers to play much better tonite. May not win, but will be much better than last week.

Everyone is harping on the missed pass to Cameron in the end zone, but the second down pass was even worse...with a wide open Benjamin right in front of Hoyer's nose. The best pass he threw was the 4th down throw to Cameron, and he fell down trying to catch it.

Besides the obvious, and the horrible performance by the quarterback, the second and 14 sack he took after the big pass to Hawkins to me shows a lack of game management. You can't take yourself out of field goal range there. 10-9 is a lot more manageable than 10-6.

If Kojak wants to throw any chance of making the playoffs out the window by continuing to play the guy with the weaker arm, less accurate arm, poorer game management skills, and no ability to move sticks with his feet, more power to him.

Fans that understand the game know that the inevitable will eventually be here...the sooner, the better.

Little itty bitty Johnny boy is definitely the way to go now. Don't let that ego maniac Hoyer back on the field. Teeny tiny JF is much stronger, faster, smarter, better looking and definitely small enough to slip thru small openings in the Defense. There should be no question after Sunday's complete disaster thanks to Hoyer that Mighty Mouse needs to be the new starter. God I hope he gets a chance.

You must have absolutely nothing to do in life. You spend more time watching the Browns than most and you hate the team. That gives a good representation of how valuable you consider your time.

Now that Tiernan's trolling has taking the "we need Johnny NOW!" stance, it's kind of funny how you almost have to look at the name of the poster before you can tell if it's him or Footwedge posting.

Yet another brilliant post by Heretic. How do you do it? Natural? Innate ability?

my life is full of wonder Doc Boogers...and right now I'm wondering if the Mighty Browns can go undefeated the rest of the season with the second coming of Johnny U at the helm.

Not undefeated there Bo Dingles. Just a probable playoff berth.

With Hoyer they win ten games this year. If that is good enough for the playoffs, so be it.
    With Manzier...they win 6-7 total.

No chance the Browns can lose either of the next two games. Absolutely positively guaranteed wins. Lock City...bet the house on it. Never been a bigger "sure thing". Call your bookie today and give the points no matter what they are, these two wins are in the bag.
