BR1986FBI'm a bit more concerned about Sunday with the possibilities of no Haden or Kruger. Billy Winn is dinged up too.

yeah...that sounds like Art. I actually roomed with him and 4 other guys sophomore year. It's been a long time but I remember him as being a stand up guy. He was a pretty damn good HS quarterback in his own right, and he led a team that was top 10 in the city at the time. Considering that and that his family owned the Steelers, he was not arrogant in the least.Footwedge;1662195 wrote:I have a great story to tell regarding Art III who was there when you were there. Met him at Pitt business school. He asked me at the break if I was related to a kid who went to GA... Small world. Went to a bar afterward and he would not let me pay for any beers.
I'll tell you this...that was one hell of a backifield that we had. Art III at QB, Eric Penick of Notre Dame fame at HB, and a kid named Janasek(FB) who went on to play at Pitt, whicjh was a top 25 team pretty consistently in that era. -
jmogTop 10 team in the city? How many teams are in the city? 15?
-
HitsRus^^^Cleveland area. The Plain Dealer used to rank teams in their coverage area. This was late 60's early 70's. No state playoffs back then.

BR1986FBIn somewhat positive news, Haden did practice today. Just hope that Justin Gilbert gets his head out of his ass. His game reps have dropped from 57 against Pittsburgh in week 1 to 9 against the Titans.

Yes it does. I'd be there for the beginning and perhaps dead in the trunk of a car for the end.SportsAndLady;1662179 wrote:Lol
That sounds like an absolutely deadly trip. -
AutomatikI've been to OU for all of the party events, except for Homecoming. I've heard it's rather wild.

SportsAndLadyOU homecoming is the rowdiest weekend in Athens imo. Or at least up there.
Court street at 5 am is just insanity. -
TiernanCleveland Business School = offer all kinds of incentives to increase customer traffic and then never deliver on any of them. Brilliant in theory but extremely stupid in reality.

I've been told the same but some friends came up from Dayton and said it's pretty similar to BG so I guess I'm not missing out. But seriously if you're an Ohio kid idk how you don't pick OU, BG or OSU to stay in state. UT is one of the most depressing campuses I have ever been on next to Eastern MichiganAutomatik;1662338 wrote:I've been to OU for all of the party events, except for Homecoming. Arrangements have been made through Laley dipshit. There is no way I pay you direct...the way you lie on these boards. But keep it up, and I just might tell you to fuck off with your C-note.DeyDurkie5;1662203 wrote:Pitt business school must not have a class on paying up when you talk shit and get schooled -

Why would Rooney attending Pitt hurt the credibility? Makes no sense.SportsAndLady;1662199 wrote:Pitt business school just dropped in credibility -

HitsRusFWIW...DaughterHits#2 went to BG for a year and a half and loved it. She left because she couldn't get the classes necessary for what she wanted to study.

Pick6OU students/alum sure love talking about partying. I guess you need something to hang you're hat on.

BRFI hope ALL the previous schools mentioned will be able to party down on a Browns win!
