Rooting for the Browns QB to choke. And you wonder why I say you aren't a Browns fan?

We are .500 after week 5, and have a good set of games coming up on our schedule and the only thing FW and I assume iqqy worry about is bitching about the QB. How miserable do you have to be? Just enjoy the fucking season until we implode at least.

What I never understood....so much hope every year and anxiously waiting for it to start but immediate negativity as soon as it starts. Enjoy it and give it hope until mathematically eliminated. FW should maybe use someone else's math though.

The only time IQQY was somewhat positive was when we fired Banner. That only lasted about a month though as he wanted to fire Farmer as soon as we didn't pick Manziel with our first pick, he then changed his tune after we got Manziel with the 2nd first round pick. Unfortunately that didn't last long as he called for Farmer and Pettine's firing after the Browns didn't draft a WR lol. After that I was sold he wasn't just some miserable POS, he is just a troll. That is when I blocked him.

I blocked him to make it easier to read through these threads but also he was killing an OSU thread or something.

Does Hoyer have any turnovers? I'm cautiously happy about Pittsburgh getting 2 picks Sunday.

Same shit different year. 4-12 Pettine and company will be fired, and switch back to the 4-3

    browns 5
    steelers 49

Believe he had one, but a second was nullified due to penalty.

Browns looked solid, just like in the second half against the steelers. If they can do it for both halfs, or even 3 of the 4 qtrs, they may have something.

Where did I claim that I was rooting for Hoyer to choke? Reread what I actually wrote buttmunch. I said Hoyer has alternated weeks choking in crunch time.

I understand being a JFF fan, but I don't know how you hate Hoyer if you are a Browns fan. Cleveland born and raised, he's the best QB we've had here in a decade. Hoyer has a QBR of 98 and is #8 or 9 in the NFL.

Line apparently opened up at Browns (-2.5)

Hopefully Big Ben carries more NFL PR worth than Locker does and Goodell warns Jimmy Boy & Pettine about passing out $10,000 handshakes for knocking QBs out of the game. Anybody with half a brain could see the intent from cheat ass Clowns trying to punch, gouge, forearm, kick Locker in those first few possessions. Sickening how you Cleveburgh fucks are celebrating this "win".

Some people just want "their" way, regardless of whether it's best for the team. I think Manziel would be a miserable failure, right now, and this team wouldn't be sniffing .500. Is Hoyer the new Peyton Manning? No, but pulling him for Manziel sends a VERY bad message. You switch QB's, you lose the team. This team believes in and follows Hoyer. The same can't be said for Manziel. JFF will get his chance eventually, but most likely not this year barring an injury to Hoyer.

What's the status on shazier? If he doesn't play I hope the Browns take advantage of their RBs and attack with their TEs.

The next team to be anything more than mediocre with Hoyer as a starting QB will be the first.

Kid has been a disappointment at every level of football as he's never led a team that is anything but average.

Vegas just poked the bear in the eye with that line. No way that doesn't motivate the Stillers to be 'dogs to the lowly Clowns.

Not that Haden is playing at a high level but if Gilbert has to take his place, God help us.....

Well since the browns have been well below average you should be happy with him as QB as its a big step up

I thought he was going to be out this week also...but hope not.

I feel like Hoyer made it into the NFL with the potential to be nothing more than a clip board holder. But it seems as though being a backup for several years and keeping in shape has made him into much more. However, even though he is doing well, I don't see him as the answer to take the Browns to new heights. I am thrilled that he is a hometown hero, though. I believe that the right decision has been made to have Manziel backup and learn.
