They were fortunate that San Diego crapped in their hats. Baltimore doesn't impress me in any facet (except their punter & kicker) of the game.
I wouldnt say they dont deserve to be as they did win 10 games but yeah I agree they arent coming in playing their best.

I've said that about Baltimore teams before and then they win the fucking Super Bowl.

Not that Roethlisberger is Peyton Manning, but that's how Manning had to do it for years.

I feel this pain MUCH more than you but you're right. A few years ago, Stabbin Ray just HAD to tell them "I'm retiring after this season" so his asshole teammates would go on a run/play out of their minds and win the Super Bowl.

I don't see this team being nearly as talented.

Bell officially ruled out. It sucks, but not surprised.

Ben does have more rings, and rapes, than peyton though...

Anyone think Detroit has a shot to knock off Dallas? I have a friend, one of those "diehard" Dallas fans, that will not STFU about them this year. He's pretty much penciled them into the SB. I would love to see them go down in Jerry World.

Something's got to give in this one. Detroit is excellent against the run and Dallas has been pounding the run down peoples throats all year. If Detroit can shut down Murray, they have a solid chance.

    Playoffs man.
    Anything can happen.
Yes, I can see it happen. Both teams are very inexperienced come playoff time so who knows. Did I hear this morning that Stafford is 0-16 against winning teams on the road?

Best rushing attack and Oline vs best Dline and run D. Should be a good one. Even though I think he should have been suspended, I'm glad Suh is playing.

Compound that with the fact that it seems like the Cowboys suck/are mediocre at home which leaves us with your first comment...."anything can happen."

From top to bottom in the NFL the teams are so close, and then when you narrow it down to just the "top" 12 teams it makes it even closer.
Can come down to the smallest of things.
Hell, I wouldnt be surprised if Carolina make a mini run. They have been on a roll lately.

Was listening to one of the national broadcasts this morning and they were joking that Cam Newton has played like he has a new lease on life after that SUV accident.

I still think Seattle will rep the NFC. No clue about the AFC though. As you said "so close."

Think DA led them to one win though after his wreck.
Was reading the paper the other day looking at the final standings and the scoring of each team and it is such a fine line.

    I'm taking Caroline over AZ.

    Sweet prediction......

    I have that as well.

I just don't see the Lions winning. Stafford is like 0-16 on the road against winning teams. I think Dallas wins 23-13.

Really? IMO, the AFC is New England's to lose. Seattle is trending upward definitely, but Green Bay and Dallas will be tough. Outside of New England, the rest of the AFC has seemed like a big pile of "meh"

Looks like AJ will be out for the Bengals.

Bengals did not dominate Baltimore the 2nd game....had the ref not thrown an offensive PI call at the end of the game on a pretty flop added play....Baltimore wins

Yes, they did. The Ravens made a run in the late 3rd/early 4th to make it a game. Bengals completely overwhelmed them in the first half, but like usual, missed some opportunities and were only up I think 17-6 early in the 3rd?

I get the domination of the game but when the final outcome is decided on a final play by the Ravens being an offensive PI (opposed to a game winning play)....and it was incredibly iffy.

60 min game and every part of it is equally important

Ravens were ahead 24-20 with 3:59 left.....

In the Bengals game 1 "blowout" AJ Green caught a 77 yard pass for the GW TD in the last few minutes of the game. 23-16
