He did.....through a shitty shitty pass into triple coverage with zero chance of completion.

    threw*

and yeah, they really outsmarted him when he torched them for 80 yards in 30 seconds

Win or lose this game, Peyton is the GOAT. Never question the GOAT.

He got outsmarted that play is what ironman was most likely saying.

Yeah....I certainly made the post considering the future successes.

Peyton's arm sucks and he's not GOAT anything

Is there a worse overtime system in sports than the NFL's?
  • Ironman92
    Can't keep a team from going 80 yards....you don't deserve the ball.

That was very Brownsesque of the Denver defense.

I was thinking that when Seattle let the Broncos get deep on them twice needing 80 yards with time running low

The Broncos went 80 yards in 20 seconds the drive before...It basically came down to a coin flip

NCAA Basketball changes the rule to whoever scores first in OT wins the game. Half the games come down to the jump ball arrow. "What a great idea" - said no one ever.

Well it's about time for Joe Philbin to go, can't watch this shit anymore.

Yeah....and had Seattle gave up another 80 yard drive in OT they would've deserved to lose.
  • Ironman92
    I'll guess 23-6 Panthers

QQing because your boy peyton lost?

They didn't have a chance to prove they wouldn't because they won a coin flip. That is my complaint with the NFL OT system.

    Maybe prove it in regulation?

They didn't lose because of a coin flip. They lost because their defense sucks and Peyton did jack shit until the last drive.

The same could be said for Seattle.

Why should one team be given a huge advantage based on a coin flip? In the professional sport with the most significance attached to individual games, why is it the one with the most randomized OT system?
  • Ironman92
If anyone could bitch about a coin toss it would be a Steelers fan....but that's silly, so I won't.

Please give stats to back up your "huge advantage"

maybe peyton should get better at calling coin flips.

Save for one notable time, every winning team has elected to receive the kickoff when winning the OT coin toss. Unless there is a massive market inefficiency, it would stand to reason that if all parties are coming to the same conclusion about which side of a 2 choice decision to take, that side comes with a significant advantage.
