On the Manning note, do they promote Gase to HC assuming Manning plays?
I hope they promote Gase. I am interested to see how he does as a HC, especially if Manning leaves. All this shit the browns got for not being able to hire him, I don't think he would be that great of a HC without Manning.

Well most head coaches woudnt be as great without their HOF QB, but I get what you are saying.

Entire staff has been let go in Denver.
  • Mulva
I can't imagine anyone in Denver being particularly upset about Fox being gone. The past 3 years for them have been Super Bowl or bust. Not only did they win 0, they went one and done twice. Did not meet expectations.

With Manning's track record not really sure how the blame falls on fox. He won a game with Tim Tebow for christ sake.

But I get your point, no one internally or fan wise will question Manning, so the sword has to fall on the coaches.

If Cardale Jones declared for the draft, I'd take him anywhere after the early 2nd round.
  • Lovejoy1984
Yup. Cardale looks the part of an NFL QB.
  • Commander of Awesome
Lol this reminds me of Troy smith coming out. Everyone calm the fuck down on cardel. They made the game very easy for him tonight. He didn't have to read shit, Oline was pwning, etc... He's a project.

Cardale impresses me. Didnt get to see the Wisconsin game as I was at the Shoe watching the HS football championships (3 peat!) but did get to see the bama game where he was just around 50% passing.
His arm strength was impressive. It was obvious last night in big spots he was looking and then if he didnt like it just run for the first down. That wont necessarily work in the nfl.
But his arm strength......WOW. He is a better pick than Mariota.

He must have a hell of an attitude problem.
"[Being inactive] will never happen to me again," Richardson said Thursday. "Anybody can quote me, today, because it's never going to happen again."
That could almost be a Tiernan prediction.

Giving up a 1st rounder after seeing him play in the NFL is worse than spending a high pick on him coming out of college, right? I mean the Browns f'ed up but the Colts realllllly f'ed up.
  • Ironman92
It's greatly affected the Colts obviously

Doesn't hurt to have a QB who can hide a lot of your team's flaws.

The Browns have a lot more talent on their team. The Colts have way more talent at the only position that truly matters. So it has greatly affected the Colts, just not more than Andrew Luck has.
  • Ironman92
    T-Rich is quite the bust.

Colts made a terrible move with him, but apparently have more than counteracted that move as they are where they are.

How many NFL organizations would've resigned Peyton?
  • Laley23
When the Browns traded Richardson, he was coming off a 1000 yard season and everyone was questioning the Browns. Both teams didn't evaluate properly to see what he was, no one more than the other, IMO.

    Thoughts on the games today?

I like the Pats in a close game. And the packers to upset the Seahawks.

I think the home team's take it, but I really hope they don't.
  • Ironman92
I want Pats/Seahawks....won't be upset by any of the four winning.

    I like all 4 QBs
  • mhs95_06
Hey Buck! There is a difference between 1st and goal on the 4 yd line vs the 7 yd line. I didn't believe it when you said they were almost back to where they would have had it if the Packers didn't have the dumb penalty after the INT!
  • mhs95_06
Packers with another 1st down on the 7!

Seattle looks like shit on offense so far.
  • Mulva
I've seen Jordy Nelson drop about 8 passes the past month.
  • wghfan
Pats vs. Seahawks is the best matchup. Anything else is shitty.
  • wghfan
C'mon Seattle, wake up! Can't stand the mother fuckin Packers!
