They've been sold out since 5 central. My friend works there and I had a fucking card ready for him and he said they were done. Only half seasons available up until like 7 central.ts1227;1635329 wrote:ESPN is claiming now that they have sold out their season ticket alottment (12,000 seats)

You probably ave a better idea than I, does smaller shit like 10 game plans get included in this, or does that come out of the remaining 8000 seats?SportsAndLady;1635337 wrote:They've been sold out since 5 central. Crazy
I wonder how many of their ticket/marketing staff will be laid off since after today there is absolutely no need for them. I had a friend from school (Sports Marketing program at OU) that got hired by the Heat in 2009 to sell season tickets. He was predictably let go by the end of July in 2010. -

The 8,000, from what i am assuming is not season or half season tix. The article said it took about 8 hours to sell those out which makes sense since the decision came at 1230 and at 830 eastern I couldn't get any.ts1227;1635340 wrote:You probably ave a better idea than I, does smaller shit like 10 game plans get included in this, or does that come out of the remaining 8000 seats?

The remaining 8000 is single game and group tix. No profits to be made on those -
SportsAndLadyAnd also the mini pack sales do not get included in the season or half season tix. I doubt the cavs are even doing those to be honest.

Why would a bank teller have a better idea?ts1227;1635340 wrote:You probably ave a better idea than I, does smaller shit like 10 game plans get included in this, or does that come out of the remaining 8000 seats?

The fact that he said he was a minute late in getting season tickets, is enough to tell you that he is full of shit. It must be an OU thing. Dipshits. -

Please, the fact you asked here if it was a good idea to buy the season tickets in order to resell was a good investment, tells me enough you aren't more than a teller.SportsAndLady;1635348 wrote:Oh great, society is back
Don't expect a promotion anytime soon. -

Would have to assume so, seeing as team is pursuing a trade for Kevin Love, which will undoubtedly put us at/over the tax line.robj55;1635368 wrote:Is Dan Gilbert willing to pay the luxury tax if necessary? -

I just now saw that they traded Alonzo Gee to free up more cap space.HighRoller74;1635372 wrote:Would have to assume so, seeing as team is pursuing a trade for Kevin Love, which will undoubtedly put us at/over the tax line. -
Lovejoy1984Yeah, because he's pretty much worthless, and since CLE doesn't have the MLE or the BiA, they have to use caproom/vet min deals to fill the roster.

I thought they had the MLE?HighRoller74;1635375 wrote:Yeah, because he's pretty much worthless, and since CLE doesn't have the MLE or the BiA, they have to use caproom/vet min deals to fill the roster. -
Lovejoy1984Nope. Only get the MLE if you're above the cap when the League year starts.
-
robj55
Oh okay I thought I saw something about them going after Chris Anderson with the MLE. Obviously targeting Mike Miller and Ray Allen. Thought I saw something about Greg Oden as well.HighRoller74;1635378 wrote:Nope. Only get the MLE if you're above the cap when the League year starts. -
Lovejoy1984Would all have to come in at vet min. or using what little cap room we have left.

Lovejoy1984Looks like Miller really wants to follow LBJ. And if Ray Allen doesn't retire he'll be a Cav as well.
Have to think we won't bring both in, without trading Dion.
