Where is the idea that Kevin love is injuiry prone coming from?

Maybe from the fact he has played only 283 of a possible 394 games the past 5 years.

Then again you would probably argue that neither Kyrie or Andy is injury prone either would you.

Because in 3 of his 6 seasons he has missed 1/4, 1/4 and 3/4 of the games. His healthiest year, he was a rookie playing non-starter minutes.

He had one major industry that cost him essentially an entire season. The other three of his last 4 seasons he's missed limited time due to injuries.

So throwing out his one major injury, Love has played in 13 fewer regular season games than Lebron over the last 4 seasons. Seems to me like a guy who fractured his hand one time and outside of that has been of expected durability.

I'll guess Love at 18 ppg and 11 rb

He doesn't have serious injuries either, like lingering knee issues.

Those are even worse, because it means their entire body is brittle and they are a hang nail away from a 10 game stint on the disabled listed.

Kevin Love is actually the Kyrie of PF's in that regard, and it is fitting that they both played old men in that commercial since they are walking posterboys for brittle bone syndrome.

It is fitting they ended up on the Cavs together.

You guys crack me up... You'll never be happy.
  • Ironman92
I'll also guess Kevin Love at 72+ games.

Smh we have the most talented team in the nba and people are bitching bc we gave of wiggins who has holes in his game.

I think Wiggins will be good. And I really wanted him badly. But I'm lol'ing at anyone saying they shouldn't have traded him for love. We know exactly what love is. For all we know Wiggins could never pan out... I'll take the certain over the hope.

Id be pissed because in no way did you have to give him up to get Love...not at actually giving him up.

There's also no way to pay Lebron, Kyrie, Love, Waiters, Thompson AND Bennett and Wiggins if the latter becomes a Super-Max player.

Getting Love without shredding salary this upcoming offseason would have been nearly impossible. You make the trade 10/10 times.

Yep. My expectations for the 2014-2015 season are a championship, barring injuries. Anything else will be a letdown, for me. I do expect it to take some time to become a cohesive unit though.

Anyone else chuckling at Big Zydrunas' comeback attempt?

    I agree with this.

It's not that I'm not thrilled to have Love, it's giving up the last two number one overall picks for him. That's never been done before.

That suns offer tells you everything we need to know about how much we overpaid for Love.

Make the trade, just don't have Wiggins in it.

Or any of the other offers that were on the table. Taj Gibson and the Russian guy + a first rounder from the Bulls? LOL Garbage. The Warriors offered old man Lee and Harrison Barnes, the Suns offered Eric Bledsoe, and the Cavs trade back to back #1 overall draft picks and a 1st rounder including the best prospect since Lebron for a player who was going to leave anyways. Such a bad trade.

I like how now people value Bennett, when last year he was a major bust. For all we know he still really sucks.

Yep. Seems like everyone but lhs (maybe one or two others) had written off Bennett as a bust but now he seems to have "value?"

Lebron should have just stayed in Miami, so then you guys could have legitimate problems to bitch about...

He looked like a different player in Vegas summer league. Could still be a bum, but looked like he could contribute off the bench. Which is valuable, and night and day difference from his rookie yr

That still doesn't solve the whole "not being able pay them all" thing. If Wiggins turns into an all-star, he's due for a higher raise and we couldn't afford everyone (unless you include Waiters, but Waiters seems to be someone that Lebron was interested in playing with as opposed to Wiggins).

We were also playing with house money. I do actually feel different giving up house money than if we had tanked and "earned" the #1 pick.

Wouldn't that be 4 years from now?

It sure would. We're a better team with wiggins and love on it. Dgaf about 4 yrs from now.

And we couldn't afford Love this summer unless 1) we traded for his bird rights or 2) we got rid of a bunch of salary.

There is no plausible scenario where we keep our team and still sign Love.
