2014 Masters

NBC shows way more shots live as well, probably close to half of them. So you actually dont know the outcome. CBS cant even show shots of guys like Kuchar live. Everyone knew that Rose putt was going in, and Kuchars shot would be close.

NBC shows that type of stuff live and only shows them on delay when you have lots of action happening simultaneously. If you notice, they jump around the course and are constantly cutting cameras. CBS picks their 2 or 3 groups to follow, and then covers the ending holes (Masters they cover from Amen on...)

As much as Johnny Miller sucks, their coverage is definitely better.

So, when do we see this Rose birdie? 5 minutes late? 10? lol

The answer is 6 minutes after it happened.

Tomorrow is going to be awesome.

If Spieth can't win it I wouldn't mind seeing either Jiminez, Westwood or Kuchar take it. All are guys that have been good players for a while with no major. For Jiminez it is likely his last shot, and with Westwood on the wrong side of 40 his are limited most likely.

Should be an exciting day. I was kind of hoping Bubba wouldn't run away with it as we now have a nice bunched field where anyone as far back as even could still have a realistic shot with a low round.

    What a great leaderboard

I'm going for the wild card with Furyk or Bjorn

Spieth simply lives on the leaderboard

They need to consider watering the greens tonight.

People want to see fireworks coming down the stretch, but it was starting to get awful hard out there today.

With so many guys withing 4-5 of the lead I would like to see the course set up in a way that a 64-65 is doable if someone mounts a charge.

There was that period a few years back when they were setting the course up too tough on Sundays and there were no roars. It sucks the fun out of the tournament.

Water the greens and let the guys go out there and have a shot to really get after it.

Won't happen. They want it firm and fast.
  • Laley23
We dont need it watered this year though. PLENTY of guys can shoot a 67 even and be right there, as long as the leaders stay near E...which is very possible. If someone were up 4-5 strokes, then maybe you water the greens and hope the leader doesnt go low, but hope everyone else does.

Alright vball, looks like we'll get to see what Spieth is made of tomorrow. Couldn't ask for anything more! So pumped

Go kuchar, Scott, poulter and rose!

But seriously, if none of them choke, and Kuchar finishes ahead of Speith, I will probably be very happy at the end.

i'd be very surprised if they (did) water the greens. It is another perfect day at Augusta.

I did and the reasoning just isn't there.

You think he's a pompous prick. Laley thinks he's a dick. Classy thinks he has an ego because he yelled at his caddy.

Whats wrong with a golfer being pompous? He's not on a team and having "self importance" is useful in golf.

Classy mentioned Bubba yelling at his caddy. Yet we don't know what was going on the entire round or tournament.
Maybe on multiple occasions Bubba didn't like the club recommended and the caddy deserved it.

I thought I heard once Craig Stadler had a caddy drop his bag and walk off.

Guess I'm the only one who thinks its cool Bubba owns a General Lee car.

I would live to see Spieth win, but I'm pulling for Miguel Angel Jimenez.

Spieth has been right there all year and just has the 1 win....He could be deemed a choke artist as well, thought I'd love to be his caddy

He's also 20, so you should expect nerves w/ Spieth.

Bubba has led after 54 holes 9 times in his career and has only won 1 of those tournaments.

Speith with the outright lead for now. Come on Freddy. Hang in there. Long way to go yet.
  • sherm03
I'd love to see Couples win it.
  • Con_Alma
    You and me both then.
