The Buckeyes had Woody Hays and Archie Griffen and the Ohio state marching band and the Michigan rivalry therefore the Buckeyes have always been #1 . Columbus is a great town and I like the Bluejackets. I have to respect the Reds because I grew up and the Big Red machine was great and the Pirate rivalry was the best with the Lumber and Lightning crew. As far as the Indians are concerned I loved the movie "Major League" and I did root for them to win a title. Truth be told I want the Clowns to do good and win if they aren't playing the Steelers. They just keep self destructing and doing the stupid things that keep them losing. I pulled for the Cav's until Lebron defected.
The Browns have about as bad ownership as the Clippers do. Goodbye Cleveland thread and I wont let the door hit me in the ass. -

Then you are not a true steelers fan. In no, way shape or form does any steelers fans wnat the browns to do well when they arent playing the steelers.steubbigred;1616728 wrote:Pittsburgh pro teams were the only teams I knew growing up and I never changed teams not once ever. A steelers win on sunday is lessened if the browns also win. Told a buddy of mine who just got drafted that if he went to the browns I hope he throws for 300 yards, 4 TD and 0 INTs every game but lose each game. -
Pick6As far as I'm concerned if Bennett or Austin in any combination can contribute in all 16 games, WR should be fine without Gordon. Austin is probably the best you are going to get in FA. Just hope he can stay relatively healthy.

Feinstein is butthurt? Really? Ripping the Browns for their childish handling regarding the media is hardly a sign of butthurtiness. Your line of thinking is to put the Heisman trophy winner in a cage...never to be heard from again.queencitybuckeye;1616577 wrote:What Feinstein and other media whiners have forgotten is that there is no reason whatsoever to give a shit about the national reaction to Manziel or anything else related to the Cleveland Browns. To summarize for Mr. Feinstein and the rest of the butthurt national media:
1. Your presence can not help the organization.
2. Fuck you.
You must live on another planet dufus. Answering to the media is part of the entertainment package. Only in the Browns bizarro world is the national media banned. And the Cleveland jokes continue. -
queencitybuckeye
and has his ripping harmed the Browns in any tangible way? It has not. If he wrote something glowing about the Browns does it help them in some material way? Again, the answer is no. Can the presence of the national media cause a distraction at this camp the the team doesn't need? Yes, it can. Correct decision.Footwedge;1616815 wrote:Feinstein is butthurt? Really? Oh noes, Cleveland jokes? How horrible.
Bottom line, the presence of the national medial in no way helps the team, it has some possibility of hurting the team. Perfectly valid decision. -
Dr. KnOiTaLL
I have to concur with the decision. Johnny will have plenty of time to be the center of attention and talk to the media. It's not necessary for it to be from day 1. What's he going to say? The same old, "I'm going to come in and work hard." "I just want to win." yada yada yada... Rookie mini camp is important for the new players to get to know their teammates, coaches, and schemes. Those items can be difficult enough for some of these guys without the distraction of media. He will get his time in the sun, but it doesn't have to start from day 1.queencitybuckeye;1616830 wrote:Bottom line, the presence of the national medial in no way helps the team, it has some possibility of hurting the team. Gotta love a guy who WANTS to play in ClevelandLoggains said that as Manziel slid down the draft board, he sent him a text that read: "I wish you guys would come get me. Hurry up and draft me because I want to wreck this league together."
Added Loggains: "When I got that text, I forwarded it to the owner (Jimmy Haslam) and to the head coach (Mike Pettine). I'm like, 'This guy wants to be here. He wants to be part of it.' As soon as that happened, Mr. Haslam said, 'Pull the trigger. We're trading up to go get this guy.'" -

Why the need to fix it? Every player wants to get drafted, but not every player wants to get drafted by Cleveland.sleeper;1616873 wrote:Fixed. -

He probably only was told he was being targeted by a few teams and Cleveland was one of them. If he really just wanted to play in Cleveland he should have come out and publicly stated he would only play for Cleveland because that's where he wants to play. The reality is, he saw himself dropping and wanted to get drafted in the 1st round for more guaranteed money.vball10set;1616875 wrote:Why the need to fix it? I know little sucks and I'm glad he was cut, but damn we are very thin at receiver. -

Little is just fucking horrible. Just on the top of my head, I can pretty much single handedly blame him for 3 losses.SportsAndLady;1616914 wrote:Farmer must know something we don't about Gordon.

Cue the predictable "derp a merp, browns always lose they suck" post from dlazz... -
derek bomarLittle does suck. And I am glad we cut him. But god if he could catch he'd be a beast.
