They won 29 games. Finished 9 games back of the playoffs. In the God awful Eastern Conference.
I will admit there is some talent there, but come on. -

Stuckey with 14 ppg on 44% shooting off the bench you wouldn't take? I already said I'm not a fan of Jennings.Commander of Awesome;1616054 wrote:lol no, team is trash. Josh Smith, Stuckey, and Jennings I would pay not to have on my team. They're terrible. -
SportsAndLadyJust saw the highlights...the clips are seriously mad? LOL
They fouled the player, who gives a fuck whose ball it was, refs missed the call AGAINST the Thunder.
Then it was def a foul on RW's 3. -

Didn't the same thing happen in the Clips and Warriors series and the team that fouled(even though it wasn't called) was awarded the ball?SportsAndLady;1616086 wrote:Just saw the highlights...the clips are seriously mad? LOL

wildcats20Just so CP3 will shut the fuck up.

Point is, refs missed the blatant foul call, so don't get all pissy about the call, doc.robj55;1616154 wrote:Didn't the same thing happen in the Clips and Warriors series and the team that fouled(even though it wasn't called) was awarded the ball? -

Yeah and it was a shooting foul as well. Jackson would have gone to the line.SportsAndLady;1616185 wrote:Point is, refs missed the blatant foul call, so don't get all pissy about the call, doc.
But in the previous series, I believe, they actually got the replay correct. This time they completely bitched the replay. -
robj55
Yes but that isn't reviewable, the ball went off Jackson, should have been Clipper's ball. They make two free throws and the game is over. Now they have to win two straight games instead of having to win one of two, I'd be pissed too.SportsAndLady;1616185 wrote:Point is, refs missed the blatant foul call, so don't get all pissy about the call, doc. -
Laley23Kerr takes the GSW job.
How does everyone think he fares? I think he will be a very good coach in the NBA. -

Hard to say, seems like a really nice guy who really understands the nuances of the game. Hopefully he holds players accountable because that roster is very good. This says a lot about where the Knicks are right now for him to pass them and Phil up.Laley23;1616297 wrote:Kerr takes the GSW job.

He does live in Arizona, so going West is logical, when you couple he gets to coach Steph.robj55;1616298 wrote:Hard to say, seems like a really nice guy who really understands the nuances of the game. But yeah, he gets the little things that you dont typically hear from announcers. He and JVG (Kerr moreso) always point out little things that make huge differences in games. -
KB0938Wade flops like its his job smh

I don't understand why GS wouldn't want someone who is established with experience. Lionel Hollins, George Karl, Jeff Van Gundy. A lot of unknowns with Kerr who somehow became the hot coaching commodity out of nowhere.Laley23;1616300 wrote:He does live in Arizona, so going West is logical, when you couple he gets to coach Steph.

KB0938idk how.Karl is without a job with some of the hacks with coaching positions now. unless he voluntarily took this year off after being let go

Good question, perhaps holding out for the right opportunity?KB0938;1616313 wrote:idk how.Karl is without a job with some of the hacks with coaching positions now. unless he voluntarily took this year off after being let go -
Laley23His health maybe? Maybe teams dont want to have him come on board and have to retire in 2 years...
-
robj55
Excellent point, completely forgot about that aspect.Laley23;1616317 wrote:His health maybe? Maybe teams dont want to have him come on board and have to retire in 2 years... -
MulvaI don't think it's surprising that a lot of teams would prefer an unknown over someone with 10+ years coaching at multiple stops and no rings to show for it. You reach a certain point where "good" isn't good enough. That's why Karl got fired from Denver to begin with. Losing in the first round every year (fine, 8 out of 9 years) eventually stops cutting it.

He did make it to one, and unfortunately had the Jordan Bulls. But, yeah, I get your point.Mulva;1616320 wrote:I don't think it's surprising that a lot of teams would prefer an unknown over someone with 10+ years coaching at multiple stops and no rings to show for it. I wouldn't waste my key player's primes on an unknown commodity but that's just me. -
KB0938why the FUCK would you leave him?
-
robj55
Was either him or Chalmers, I would have let Chalmers have it as he's been off.KB0938;1616330 wrote:why the FUCK would you leave him? -

Karl was just the easy example since he was being discussed at the time. There are other guys that I would throw into the same boat... D'Antoni, JVG, Skiles, McMillan. I actually like a couple of the guys on that list, so I wouldn't necessarily feel that way, but I can definitely understand why some teams choose to go that route.Laley23;1616324 wrote:He did make it to one, and unfortunately had the Jordan Bulls. robj55Lebron fouled him there
