No, it's not. Cite 5 more courses with wicker baskets, then *maybe* it could be considered pretty common in relation to the # of links courses.

Why would anyone care if they're using wicker baskets instead of flags?

When Tiger goes bad, he really goes bad...

I've watched coverage of Tiger on 5 holes....he is +4 on those holes.

Wicker baskets have been used by a handful of other golf clubs in the United States.
    Pretty common though.

    There.. a handfull is 5 :)

On Morning Drive they were saying the designer got the idea from the seaside courses in Great Britain which are common due to their longevity versus flags. But I can't find shit on google.

Phil is ripe to shoot 75 today. He is already scrambling big time and he is only on his 2nd hole.

I love it. A 6900 yard course is absolutely kicking these guys in the teeth
  • Ironman92
    +2 will win it......

    Congrats Luke Donald.
  • vball10set
I'm going with -2 winning it, with Phil will finally get his US Open victory. He's paid it forward, and karma will reward him.

He'll go +3 on his last 7 holes to finish +3

I think Friday will go down as the hardest scoring, no way the pins remain that difficult through the week as I don't think they can

How is he REAL bad? He was top 15 at the US Open.

How about, when Tiger is not Tiger it seems like he sucks cause of what he has done in the past but in reality he is still a damn good player?
