I don't know, they won't finish til the morning and last I saw the weather wasn't looking great for tomorrow morning.

Said they will get some more golf in tonight though...we shal see.

I really like this course. So many quirks here, glad to see them playing in a venue like this. I'd say it's the equivalent of playing the Final Four somewhere like Cameron Indoor or Hinkle. But also it's extremely tough, I doubt anyone goes much lower than -5 and it is only 6900 I believe, which is what the Ohio State Championships are played at. You don't need length to make a course hard though, toughest setup I ever played was Catawba Island and that is only 6300

When Tiger going to WD with a bad wrist?

I agree. The course I hated playing the most in high school was Walnut Run (Lakeview's home course) because I had to hit a lot of irons off the tee and it was extremely narrow.

Tiger bogeyed his first hole this morning to fall to +3.

It is hard to believe that was 14 years ago, because I still remember watching that with them making the point that Phil had the beeper in the bag in case his wife went into labor and he was ready to leave immediately even if it was during a round.
I remember when Stewart put his arm around a disconsolate Phil after Payne had won it and said "cheer up, man, you're going to be a father!"...good stuff.

Karma dictates Mickelson will win this Open

Made a big mistake by not putting that last night.

ok iggy your post was misleading.

He made the shorty on 11 for par, bogeyed 12. Now made a 10 footer for bird on 13.
  • IggyPride00
Tiger just birdied the short par 3 to get back to +2. He hardly stuffed it in there, so he made a decent length putt. Maybe it will get him going.

Agreed, as I thought the same thing after he decided not to.

Then again, he did come out and drain it. So what do we know? Lol

    Exactly!!!

Adam Scott has dropped 5 shots already this morning in only 6 holes so far.

Tiger is also back to +3.

Everyone is shit today so far. I saw a tweet that Carl Petersens ball was hit by an errant tee shot just as he was about to pull the trigger in the fairway.

    Pretty common on links courses.
Don't really see why Merion needs them though.

If by "quite common" you mean non-existant then I agree. GFY Zwick, maybe in 1910, but not today.

    Pretty common indeed.
