I just don't agree with using the #1 pick because you have it. It's different than having the #3 pick.. there is a big money difference long term.

How big? I think the new CBA has helped teams out with that a lot. Im obviously in favor of Noel, but have no problem with whatever Grant decides to do. He has proven himself in my eyes, anyways.

Edit: just checked and there is less than a 2 million difference in salary between Kyrie (drafted #1) and TT (drafted #4).

I am sure you watched a lot of those big games.

Draft Porter at the 3 and sign Oden, if he can get healthy somehow and stay that way he is much better than Noel.

Oden is also a much bigger risk than Noel lol..plus there is no guaranteeing Oden will sign with us. Plus..is it weird that he is working out in a hospital?

No doubt he is, but at least you fill a hole at the 3 with a guy who is going to at least be a solid to good player with the potential of getting game changer underneath not only defensively but offensively as well. Just trying to come up with scenarios that don't involve Noel lol

Jesus..you live such a sad miserable life.

Always so mad and negative. /S&L
Not being negative at all; just don't really want Nerlens.

Id try to trade the #1 for someone in the top 10 and keep their pick for next year. Preferrably closer to 5, obviously. Then you get a top 10 pick still and will get their pick next year plus the Cavs in a much better draft.

I assume you're referring to Porter as the offensive game changer? Because Oden and offense go together like oil and water haha

No I was talking about Oden, his offensive game on the block is top 5 in the game and he developed a nice face up jump shot as well. He was putting up excellent numbers for playing the minutes he was getting. Much better than Noel imo even though Oden can't stay healthy. Huge risk but if you're the Cavs it's worth a shot, sign him for one year for a few million.

Dude single-handedly beat Syracuse in the Carrier Dome in a huge rivalry game. I watched the whole game and Porter put the team on his back offensively from start to finish.

CCrunner doesn't know what the fuck he is talking about. I am sure he watched at most 10 minutes of Georgetown basketball before the NCAA tournament.

    Fabulous insight.

Lets be real. Every player being discussed in the top 10 of this draft is potentially a bust. To single out Porter with such a broad generalization is just stupid.

Did you watch Ben McLemore's 7-point game in a double OT win over OSU? What about his 5-point game in an OT win over Iowa State? That 5-point game in the Big XII final against K-State and the 2-point game he had against UNC in the Regional Semis were also stellar.

My first thought about this was, duh Aaron Craft. Then I remembered he dropped 22 against he buckeyes and you meant Oklahoma St.

Point wasn't to bash McLemore as much as it was to point out how stupid ccrunner is calling Porter a bust and posting no support...then he replies later and says it's because of no performances in big games.

What's going on with Muhammad? Why is he falling so far in the mock drafts?

Ive read he has just looked terrible. That if it wasnt for his name, he wouldnt be in the lottery at all.
  • Crimson streak
The thing about Noel that scares me is he has now torn the same acl twice. I can just see his knees being a problem though out his career
  • Commander of Awesome
Talking with a friend today, I think any of last year's top 3 picks would go #1 overall this yr and I'd thrown Barnes's name into the mix as well. Pretty weak draft.

I saw also that it was only measured at like 6'4"
