You forget that Derrick Rose is an investment. There is no reason to rush it. None.

I bet you people were the also calling Crosby a bitch when he was sitting for so long after having his brain scrambled.
Nobody is saying he is lying. We are saying he is a *****. THE DOCTOR CLEARED HIM.Right. The Bulls paid him 20 million this year to put his ass on the bench Great investment.

He's been cleared 2 months after a first round ACL injury, he's a guard who relies heavily in athleticism and slashing. sound familiar?......his name's Iman Shumpert, but apparently Drose heals at an extremely slow pace.

Ive torn both ACL's I know its hard to go back to trusting your knee and not thinkin twice about it...but come the fuck on, its been over a year and u have the best drs and rehab in the world
  • Automatik
You rush him, he's not ready...another injury, then you are really fucked. Also, he's not getting 20 mil.

I was actually just texting w/ a friend in Chicago...rumblings are a good chance he'll be back this series.

Telling the truth and being a ***** are mutually exclusive concepts?

So saying your knee doesn't feel right always implies someone is being a bitch?

Please tell me what injuries you overcame and returned at a high level? ACL? Broken toe?

This is all speculation, but do you think if Kobe was cleared....he would play immediately even if he had doubts? Just curious...I think Rose is and has always been a mental *****...even in the Memphis days

Well I'm guessing the doctor who cleared him has plenty of experience with injuries. Just a hunch. If he was cleared 2 weeks ago and still didn't feel right then I'd have no problem, but 2 months???

Kobe never missed a season with a torn acl however we will get to see you test your theory when he tries to come back from achilles..I bet he doesn't rush it like his other wrist and thumb injuries

Absolutely, but that's Kobe. Not the same.

My stance is dealing completely with the injury. If it were a wrist, shoulder, or something less involved I would totally be on his ass. I just feel with an injury like that you can't rush it, especially when he's already sat this long. Again, I would have shelved him for the season just to get rid of any distractions that come with this discussion.

I do agree that the bulls should have stepped in and shut him down for pr reasons

    sorry, its 16 million.

I was looking up some videos about him working out, and there was also good optimism that he would be back "sooner than later" on February 25th.

Very odd comparison but reminds me of Maverick after Goose died. Just couldn't get back in the game. D Rose is holding on too tight, he's lost his edge, Lol

The bulls actually have an insurance policy on Rose. If he doesn't play a game this season, they get his salary this year back (the owner gets it; it's not a salary bump).

So no the Bulls aren't paying him 16 million to sit on the bench.

Anyway, if I am a coach and my player still seems passive about his major injury, I don't want him to play. He would probably hurt the team more than help since he hasn't played all year, and also if you go out passive, you are setting yourself up to be injured again.
    :laugh:Shut up lol.

And Gblock I think I got the thumbs mixed up

Oh jesus, if we are going to nitpick every little thing, they are paying him 10million to sit on the bench. The insurance has covered 6 million.

The Bulls dont care about the insurance policy. Rose is the one saying he isnt ready, not the FO, owner, trainer, whatever.
