    No, basically

At least not until the draft.

with the signing of Kruger(sp) as basically a rush lb, does that change the type of player that they're predicted to pick? I really haven't followed lately. first mock drafts I know that's the type of.player.they had.Cleveland selecting though

Yes sir. I watch like 6 full games per week. I just looked Groves up and I remember him from college now but considering I forgot who he was that should tell you he isn't that big of a deal in the NFL. I could be wrong because I don't watch a lot of Cardinals' games. His stats aren't that flattering though.

I'm truly confused why NE gave Amendola a bigger deal than they offered welker when Ammy has been missed a ton of games the last 2 years.

He's so terrible that the Cards were trying to keep him and the Saints and 49ers were trying to land him too. I guess if 2 of the top NFL teams were trying to get him, you must be right, he isn't very good.

Well explain to me me why his numbers haven't been great and why he has already been on 3 different teams.

Well explain to me why teams like the 49ers and Saints would be after him then. Wes Welker is on his 4th team now. Chargers, Dolphins, Patriots, and now the Broncos. Damn, he must suck.

Greg Jennings is visiting the Vikings today

I have never heard of Barnidge, but Groves and Bryant are good pickups. The Ravens will finish dead last in the division next year and will be the poster child for why you don't give top dollar to average QBs.

He's 4 years younger. Also, I'm of the opinion that Brady made Welker who he is today and he will do the same with Amendola. Welker will still be successful at the Broncos(probably more so since they have Decker and Thomas already, although not much at the TE position).

I don't know how a Rats fan wouldn't be concerned over the purging of this lineup. Sure, Newsome is good at what he does but even though his nickname was "The Wizard", he's no magician.

    I guess we shall see.

Who isn't concerned? I've said twice now that they won't repeat. I just don't think they will fall as far as sleeper thinks.
  • BR1986FB
    I don't think they'll reach the playoffs.

I won't go as far to say they are going to be bottom of the division and lucky to win 5 games, but I def expect a drop off. The part that got me was when BD said it shoulnd't be "overly difficult" to win the division. If they win the division then I will be very surprised.

You don't just have that type of turnover and easily win a division, especially when it seems like they think a slighly above average QB can carry that team (hint: he can't).

BD also keeps brushing aside the players they lost as if they were trimming the fat. Williams will be a big loss if he is gone, so will Reed. Reed might be old, but he is still a HOFer and is a great veteran to have on a team. Also, Lewis might not have been his former self the past few years, but you simply just can't replace him. In my time of watching the NFL, he has to be the most passionate football player I have ever seen. He single handedly can raise the performance of that team with his vocal leadership. You can't just simply replace that.
  • bigdaddy2003
I didn't brush aside all of the losses. Which Williams are you referring to like_that? I simply said they will still have a lot of good players and I expect Newsome to fill the spots better than most GMs.
  • BR1986FB
    Probably Cary Williams.
  • bigdaddy2003
He's a decent loss but he was getting beat a lot this year. They still have Corey Graham and Jimmy Smith who aren't bad plus Lardarius Webb who is arguably a top 3 corner will be back.
  • BR1986FB
Webb is good. Jimmy Smith is "meh."

Yeah, Smith bothers me. One play he will bat a ball down and the next he won't even pay attention to the ball. Corey Graham came in for Webb this season and played pretty decent though so I would guess he will start along with Webb.
  • thavoice
I think this was the best place for him to land and still be productive.
Wes is a great talent and always enjoyed watching him play. Gotta give the props to any quick white dude who can play amongst all the other speedsters.

He did have two drops in consecutive seasons that really, really hurt them. They were CRITICAL drops. He helped get them where they were at, but man they were big time.
