Cleveland Indians fan here. I would like to add another vote for "butthurt" for lotz.SportsAndLady;1441917 wrote:No one is butthurt but you. Sportsfan was just trying to strike up a convo about the Braves. He clearly wasn't trying to troll. You got butthurt. Other people (the fact we're reds fans is irrelevant) saw your butthurt'ness and chimed in. Sorry you're a whiny baby who gets witty and sarcastic whenever someone mentions even something slightly negative about your teams. -

Not sure. A lot doesn't mean all, but i do believe pirates fans would love to finish over .500.

None of which has anything to do with liking to slump like the Braves are now, but okay?karen lotz;1442079 wrote:Not sure. A lot doesn't mean all, but i do believe pirates fans would love to finish over .500.

I'm sure a Braves fan would love to win 2 World Series like the Marlins have... Ohhhhhh!!!!!! (Also note I know the Braves also have 2 world series).karen lotz;1442079 wrote:Not sure. A lot doesn't mean all, but i do believe pirates fans would love to finish over .500.

It's so comical how you get so sensitive over the littlest things regarding your teams. -

You're just butthurt because the Braves swept the Marlins!!!!!!!!!!Iliketurtles;1442083 wrote:I'm sure a Braves fan would love to win 2 World Series like the Marlins have... Ohhhhhh!!!!!! (Also note I know the Braves also have 2 world series).

Haha it's a tough time to be a Marlins fan... the saddest thing is yesterday I spent 30 minutes arguing with a friend that the Marlins were worse than the Astros haha.SportsAndLady;1442089 wrote:You're just butthurt because the Braves swept the Marlins!!!!!!!!!! -
Azubuike24It's May 12th, 2013.
The Oakland Athletics lead MLB in runs scored.
The New York Yankees have the best record in the league.
Crazy sport. -

more comical that people think I'm butthurt or sensitive because I respond. If sportsfan would have originally said that he meant since the Braves started 12-1 and won 10 games in a row, well no shit they are slumping. Winning 2/3 (one pitch from sweeping) from the best team in baseball on their field then possibly splitting at the defending champions != slump. Now, they got their ass kicked today and have another tough series starting tomorrow in Arizona. They need to find a way to win some games or they'll risk falling to second in their division. -
Laley23Braves were 4-6. I see where a slump could be considered, but that isn't a long enough timeframe to call it that. 0-10 sure, but 4-6 isn't really a slump IMO. Keep that pace up and make it 8-12 over a month and I'll agree.

SportsAndLady
Not that I really disagree with you, but the same record, % wise, over 20 games is a slump but over 10 it's not?Laley23;1442110 wrote:Braves were 4-6. Sure. Is 1-2 a slump (even worse then 4-6 % wise)? I know 3 is not 10. But 10 is also not 20. And IMO, in a season like baseball, I don't get caught up as much in 10 game spans. It's enough to raise the eyebrows, but not enough to panic. 20 games is enough to panic.SportsAndLady;1442111 wrote:Not that I really disagree with you, but the same record, % wise, over 20 games is a slump but over 10 it's not? -

Sorry but that is terrible logic lolLaley23;1442117 wrote:I know 3 is not 10. But 10 is also not 20.
10 games is enough to be deemed a slump. Obviously so is 20. 3 is not. -
sportsfan24In other MLB news Cubs sign Anthony Rizzo to a 7yr $41 Mi extension.

Your opinion. And yes 10 games is enough at 2-8. But at 4-6??? I dunno.SportsAndLady;1442119 wrote:Sorry but that is terrible logic lol

Oh okay no I agree 4-6 isn't a slump. I thought you were saying 10 games isn't enough to be considered a slump. Even if it was 2-8.Laley23;1442123 wrote:Your opinion. And yes 10 games is enough at 2-8. But at 4-6??? I dunno.
My bad lol -
Laley23
I think I worded it that way. But what I meant was over this particular 10 games it wasn't. But if that pace continued to 20 games then I think it would be.SportsAndLady;1442125 wrote:Oh okay no I agree 4-6 isn't a slump. I gotcha...yeah I'd agree. I wasn't really trying to argue the Braves' are slumping. More or less chimed in because karen's butthurt'ness was so obvious. I don't really like to talk about the Braves on here because of how karen would respond to literally anything I'd say.Laley23;1442127 wrote:I think I worded it that way. Me-"Braves are playing the Cubs next."
Karen-"Yeah, like this really going to be a tough series  probably tougher than the Reds series when we took 2/3 though." -

Should he thank the reds?? B4 that series they were mentioning demoting him to AAA -

So me making a point that you agree with is considered being butthurt? Thanks for stating that you "chimed in" to troll. -
