Week 16 - AFC Championship Preview: Oakland Raiders @ Cleveland Browns
-
royal_kThat's the thing that drived me crazy about DA. He throws a perfect pass for that TD. Other times he has no idea where the ball is going. If only he was consistant......
-
slingshot4ever^^^^
Yeah, I know. -
slingshot4everBrowns FG
20-9 Browns. -
iclfan2That Cribbs play was sweet...Thanks alot for the block in the back Gaines. Then HArrison fumbles 2 plays later.
-
DaBrowns41I find a link to the game, and turn it on, just to watch Harrison fumble inside the 10 yard line.

For those of you still looking for a stream.
Browns O has been quitely frisky for about the last half of the season.
I really hope Mangini stays because his stuff is starting to work. -
MulvaA lot of Mangini's stuff "working" has to do with the opponents I think. The team was obviously going to look better against Detroit, Kansas City, and Oakland then Minnesota, Denver, and Green Bay.
If the schedule was flipped the team probably would have started 3-5 or 4-4 and would be ending the season in a tailspin and people would be out with the torches and pitchforks. -
SageIunno. I mean, we've been handling the teams we're supposed to handle. With the Browns right now, I'll take anything.
Don't forget we also beat Pitsburgh.
Also, let's take into account that it's the middle of December & they're playing the Raiders today and they're playing hard. This team could've packed it in after that Baltimore beat down, but they have played hard every week since.
It's improvement. -
SageThere's Matt Roth, a Mangini pickup, out here making plays like a beast.
-
DaBrowns41Good to see that it only took Brandy McDonald 15 games to finally make a play.
-
MulvaMatt Roth was a great pickup. Moore looks very good too.
Pittsburgh was falling apart when we beat them. Beating them is a great win regardless just because of who they are, but they had lost 3 or 4 straight going into that game.
Charlie Frye gets picked. Chance to put this one away here. -
iclfan2Roth has been beasting. Hopefully he will continue to play at this level.
-
SageMcDonald would make a helluva nickel back.

What about his other 26 pickups?Sage wrote: There's Matt Roth, a Mangini pickup, out here making plays like a beast. -
iclfan2My stream must be behind your guys.
-
MulvaThat ref got dropped. Looked like a dude going down in fight night.
-
SageEvan Moore, Alex Mack, Massaquoi, Abe Elam, etc. etc. have all been very solid for us this year.
The only draft pick I had a problem with was the Robiskie one. -
iclfan2
I agree. Well I dunno helluva, but I think he'd be a better fit there instead of the #2 CB.Sage wrote: McDonald would make a helluva nickel back. -

You must not be watching the same football that 99% of Browns fans are watching.Sage wrote: Evan Moore, Alex Mack, Massaquoi, Abe Elam, etc. etc. have all been very solid for us this year.
The only draft pick I had a problem with was the Robiskie one.
Massoquoi has caught a few nice passes, but runs terrible routes, is never on the same page as his QB, and NEVER gets physical and tries to make a play for the ball.
Elam has been the most disappointing on because he's a HUGE liability in coverage, and has been disappointing in the run game because he's supposed to bring that big hitter presence, and instead has missed tackles and taken plenty of bad angles.
Moore looks good, and Mack looks great.
A win against Oakland (possibly), and a win against the Chiefs don't make you any close to not losing your job. Mangini needs to go, he's clearly clueless. -
iclfan2Browns have to settle for a field goal try.
-
iclfan2Now playing some shitty prevent.
-
wes_mantoothNFL officials suck balls. That call on Zach Miller was complete garbage.
-
iclfan2Yea it isn't like he chucked it at him. Pretty bad penalty. I want to see the replay of what the other guy did to the official.
-
SageDaBrowns,
I assume you were apart of the pitchfork mob that ran Belichick out of town? How did that turn out for Cleveland?
Firing coaches after one year is fucking ludicrous. DID YOU SEE US LAST YEAR? Mangini clearly didn't come into a desirable situation.
We still don't have a lot of talent, but we're playing with heart. We've clearly improved as the season has gone along.
We also have 11 draft picks next year (thanks to Mangini) and for once--we're actually dedicated to a long term plan.
There is a reason why the Steelers, Patriots, Eagles, etc. etc. are good every year--and it's because they fire their coach. -
wes_mantoothYeah, I wanna see that one and the headbutt that got the other guy kicked out.
