    18 games is too much, that's absolute overkill. I think 16 is a little much right now, 18 is ridiculous

    I agree with this. Let's go back to leather helmets and dinky pads. That would solve the leading with your head issue and it would look like old time football. Harvard and Yale could win a couple NCG's. The college season would come down to the Army/Navy game every year. President Eisenhower would be in attendance.

    But seriously, I like the idea and not just because Im into football history.
