You have the right to tell us how it is. You are smarter than us (see the standings). /GeneralZod'dIronman92;1325398 wrote:Your fans have bitched aplenty on here.
I vow to acknowledge the shitty calls to help the Steelers as much as I bitch about them hurting the Steelers.
I can sit here now and say if the Browns win then God Damnit the Steelers should've played better....but when the Phil Ludwigs make that ridiculous call at the worst time.....I have to vent the frustration somewhere...either scream like an idiot for 30 seconds in the house to solidify the world's worst parent/husband or bitch a bit so like_that can use the word "every"
I suppose I could walk on the treadmill the whole first 3 quarters and jog until the end of the game.
Gotta have an outlet for the Triplette's -

I fucking would if I could. Unfortuantely I live in Chicago...although I am going to be in Ohio this wknd, but Ill be at OSU/Mich, not Believeland.shook_17;1325381 wrote:lol go to the game, if we lose we will stay downtown and get slammed to drink away our sorrows of our shitty Browns, or we win, and we party in Cleveland. I know a few managers in some clubs in downtown.
I do want to make it to a game soon...probably not gonna happen this season, but maybe I'll go to a couple next year. -

My 24 ACT is in the bottom .01 percentile on here. I not smart.
I fully expect the perfect game from the Browns and awesome mediocrity from the Steelers. I'd be ahead not to watch. -

WIll be an ugly, ugly, ugly win for the browns. BUt hey..a win is a win.
Steelers have no options at QB. Some wanna see batch, but I think that will be absolutly ugly as the last time he had arm strength was when bush was in office.thavoice;1324894 wrote:Not anymore. Browns defense is stout. Put batch in and they tighten up the secondary and there will be no where to throw becuase CB doesnt have the strength to test the defense.Ironman92;1325195 wrote:Not liking the Steelers chances with Batch or the injured arm Leftwich. I think Dwyer would've won the Ravens game but Mendenhall got as many carries and he sucks.
Went deep to Wallace once and scored a TD 40 seconds later....didn't try again...didn't score any more TD
My hopes.....
* Dwyer gets 75% of the carries
* Wallace gets 3 attempts deep
* turnover battle and special teams even
Hopefully the career ruiner Jeff Triplette will be doing the game and we can all be screwed.
You guys can STFU and GTFO with the reverse jinxing bullshit.Ironman92;1325411 wrote:My 24 ACT is in the bottom .01 percentile on here. I not smart.

Browns lose.
Hello pot.
I am the king of the reverse....but if you knew me at all you would see that I feel this way every time the Steelers play someone they should beat. At Giants and games like that don't bother me much...but the shitty+ Titans and Raiders have already added to my problematic thinking....I've yet to reverse anything.
I do hope your boy Pat keeps doing what he does best....but seriously, you guys are in every game....you've gotta win one of those eventually. -

Hello pot? The browns are 2-8, pretty sure my prediction makes more sense lol.Ironman92;1325430 wrote:Hello pot.

No we don't, its Pat Shurmur and he plays for field goals and to battle. He could give to shits about winning. He is going to be Holmgrens OC in dallas.Ironman92;1325430 wrote:Hello pot.

How interesting would that be though.. If Holmgren gets hired and doesn't bring in Shurmur to be his OC.. What are you trying to say Holmgren? Shurmur wasn't that good? -

Haslam would not allow Shurmur to be the OC. No reason to keep an ex head coach on the same staff. That would be completely idiotic.shook_17;1325439 wrote:No we don't, its Pat Shurmur and he plays for field goals and to battle. He could give to shits about winning. Oh, well after seeing his ability, Holmgren would want to secure his job. Bringing Shurmur in would not help him do that.shook_17;1325447 wrote:no no no. I didn't mean here in Cleveland i meant in Dallas. -

But come on man. Holmgren is on the record saying Pat is a great young offensive mind and is going to be in Cleveland a very long time.like_that;1325458 wrote:Oh, well after seeing his ability, Holmgren would want to secure his job. Bringing Shurmur in would not help him do that. -

That statement wouldn't be true if it was in the days of 1958. -

Im not sure about the very long time part. but Holmgren has said Pat is a great offensive mind in his pressers.Ironman92;1325462 wrote:That statement wouldn't be true if it was in the days of 1958.
EDIT: read it. 5 paragraph.

I remember that....Jesus that takes from Holmgren's career greatness. It would be like the Pope going on Letterman and belching like Elf. -

As often as the Browns beat the Steelers...you shouldn't hate anything if Cleveland wins the game. But don't worry....no excuses will be coming from me. Did any Steeler fans on here post excuses after last night's loss without Ben? -

The way I took it....and to me his following post clarified it....is that Steeler fans will be saying,"If Ben woulda played...", if Pittsburgh loses. If that's not what he meant, then I guess it went over my head. -

Maybe I am reading too far between the lines, but I think he is poking fun at the "Notre Dame fans, is this your worst nightmare?" thread.killer_ewok;1325515 wrote:The way I took it....and to me his following post clarified it....is that Steeler fans will be saying,"If Ben woulda played...", if Pittsburgh loses. Because, IDGAF if you guys bitched about Ben not playing, I would still take a win over the Steelers. -

killer_ewokI honestly don't even know how it would tie into that thread. Maybe I missed something but I don't think ND fans have any excuses to make at this point.....ND hasn't lost. Anyways, let's try to get back to the Steelers-Browns or this will get off track quick and turn into a total shitfest.

It doesn't really tie into the thread, it just pokes fun of the ND thread (i.e in that thread the nightmare was what OSU fans would say about a ND title... Gochiefs in this thread was "worried" what steelers fans would say if the Browns won without rapistberger playing). -
killer_ewokOne of my thoughts is why did they leave Leftwich in last night when he was clearly less than 100%. If you don't have any faith in Charlie Batch...why is he taking up a roster spot? If you like his ability to mentor the younger players but don't think he's a capable back up anymore then they should have let him go as a player and brought him on to the staff in some capacity.
