Wayne has been solid for us thus far. I'd love to keep him here.wildcats20;1393364 wrote:How's my dude Wayne been playing?? -
SportsAndLadySaw a new mock that had Cavs picking 4th..grabbing Otto Porter from Georgetown...yes please
-
Pick6good game between Cavs and Heat right now
-
Pick6If Noel is there when we pick, we take him. We need an interior defensive presence when the pick and roll D is so horrid.
-
GOONx19Has anyone seen Maryland play very much this year?

If you are getting to Len, Im a big fan as well.GOONx19;1395475 wrote:Has anyone seen Maryland play very much this year? -

No.Pick6;1395474 wrote:If Noel is there when we pick, we take him. We need an interior defensive presence when the pick and roll D is so horrid.
We need defense all over the court, though. The perimeter D is just as pathetic. -

Wonder what foodwedge thinks about Dion's game tonight...26 pts on 11/17 shootingPick6;1395459 wrote:good game between Cavs and Heat right now -

KR1245I like Noel but I worry about taking a guy that just tore up his knee

KR1245
Dion was awesome. He didnt back down from Wade, he went right at him.SportsAndLady;1395480 wrote:Wonder what foodwedge thinks about Dion's game tonight...26 pts on 11/17 shooting -

If you are worried about him coming back from injury and being the same, I think he will be fine.KR1245;1395483 wrote:I like Noel but I worry about taking a guy that just tore up his knee
If you are worried about him being an injury prone player, I dont think you need to worry. Its not like he was cutting and tore his ACL; he smacked it off of the damn basket support. -
SportsAndLadyNo thanks on NN in the top 10.

KR1245
It just seems like a risk that the Cavs cant afford to take right nowPick6;1395485 wrote:If you are worried about him coming back from injury and being the same, I think he will be fine.

sleeperI'll take NN with our 2nd 1st rounder. Other than that, no injury prone players.

Pick6Just remember Kyrie played 10 (?) games at the collegiate level and we drafted him #1 and thats worked out well for us

Kyrie also didn't rip his ACL.Pick6;1395503 wrote:Just remember Kyrie played 10 (?) games at the collegiate level and we drafted him #1 and thats worked out well for us -

I was, but I haven't seen him play in a couple months. He looked real good to start the year, though.Pick6;1395476 wrote:If you are getting to Len, Im a big fan as well. -

Haven't seen much of him but what I have was impressive. Guys on RCF follow him more and blast the guards at Maryland for not knowing how to play with a true 7 footer. Think that if teams go purely on stats he could drop in the draft because of his non-dominant performance. But with guys like Kyrie/Dion he could thrive.GOONx19;1395547 wrote:I was, but I haven't seen him play in a couple months. He looked real good to start the year, though.
I'm torn on Noel even before the injury. He fits a definite defensive need but is so raw (more than Anthony Davis) on offense. And how will he play with Tristan on offense? We've seeen Tristan blossom with a center who has to be guarded away from the basket because he can hit a jump shot. With Noel on offense the center can cheat off him and double team Tristan therefore taking away another option.
I probably sound like a broken record by now but I'd take Otto Porter with our pick and look at Isaiah Austin with our second pick. Dude is rail thin but atheltic and a shot blocking presence. I saw somewhere that said Austin has wingspan of 7'4". Even if he gets backed down his leaping/blocking ability would make people think twice shooting over him. -
O-Trap
Okay, I just now saw this, but where the hell have I ever said that? LOLFootwedge;1386211 wrote:As OTrap would say, "holy sweet Mary Jesus". -
mucalum49Dion with another great game. 25 points on 10-16 shooting as the Cavs beat the Bulls without Kyrie.
Dion's shooting 52.3% in February and now over 40% for the full year. Just shows how poorly he started the season. Can't wait to see what an offseason of refining his game will do. His jumper is much improved from the beginning of the year and he has gotten so much better at deciding where to take his shots. -
Pick6^^ D league player tops.
