He needs to gtfo of sac town. He needs to go to a team with a strong veteran leadership that can get his head on straight

I don't care If he scored 50 and 25. He's a cancer. As soon as things don't go his way, he flips out. I watched the game, he was playing well, then he just snapped. He's an idiot.. Period.

I think he needs more than strong veteran leadership. Seems like he has some issues he needs to hash out with the guidance of a professional.

Not that anyone cares, but I just saw this tweet.
Amazing stat: No guard has ever averaged over 15 points in his 17th season or later (Kobe Bryant is averaging 30.1 points this season)

No guard in his 17th season or later still shoots the ball more than 25 times a game. Kobe is desperate and chucking a lot because his team is utter trash. They won't make the playoffs. Book it.

    Neither does Kobe.

He's close at 22.1 shots per game so far in the season and that number has been trending upward with the loss of Howard and Gasol. 22.1 shots per game is also leading the league(next closest is Melo at 21.3). The guy is a chucker; always has been always will be.

Just like James harden is a chucker and Russell Westbrook is not...what is your definition of a chucker?

James, like Kobe, plays on a bad team. James just gets fouled more and that inflates his ppg, while not inflating is field goal attempts per game.
  • Automatik
Harden shoots it at 45%...not exactly "chucker" status.

Sounds like a top 26 player.

James harden plays on a team that is 5-6 games above 500. That actually is a good team not a bad team.

James harden attacks the basket more than anybody else in the league. His aggressiveness draws fouls which send him to the line. Points at the line are the best points in the league.

Yeah, he'll never win a championship. A top 25 player has to have the potential to win a championship at some point in his career and Harden decided money was more important than greatness.
  • Automatik
He has very similar stats to Melo who's in the race for MVP....wouldn't call him a chucker either.

Not really. Melo plays less minutes per game and is on a team that actually has a chance to win a championship. Harden is a chucker on a bad team(really Houston isn't good) who plays a lot of minutes and hogs the ball.
  • Automatik
I stand corrected. Harden averages 3 less pts on 4 less shots.

    MPG
    Harden - 38.3
    Melo - 36.8

    Big difference?

Also, NY and Houston have about the same chance go win it all....very slim.

The thunder had a top 15 player happily being 6th man for them. He sacrificed minutes, shots, and ego for the team. Why should he also sacrifice 30 million when everybody else on the team is payed what they deserve( Durant) or above what they deserve (Perkins, collision).

He is making more money and his "greatness" is even more on display this year, all while playing for a winning team

Speaking of which I think harden should be in MVP discussion. He has transformed the rockets into an offensive juggernaut.

    2: Bron
    3: harden
    4: melo

He'll be out of the league in 2 years after his "greatness" ends with him working at McDonalds.

Why looking up Harden and Melo's stats I noticed LeBron's. He is crazy efficient these days.

And what's sad is most games he is just going through the motions saving himself for the playoffs. All while averaging 25,6,6 and crazy good shooting percentage.

I hate the dude being a Cleveland fan but the way he is dominate with out putting a lot of effort in regular season games is amazing

They've been mentioning it all year how his FG% has gone up the last two years, but I had no idea how good it was. Averaging roughly 26-8-7 on 54% shooting.
