sigh...would be a good pick up for them, imo

Looks like the Lakers will be without Gasol/Howard indefinitely. Gasol has concussion, Howard tore something in his right shoulder. Oddly enough, they're only expecting Howard to be gone a week or two. I'm surprised a basketball player can tear something in their shoulder and only need a week off to recover. But this is also the same group who said Nash would be out for a week after hurting his leg and ended up missing seven weeks instead.

They also lost Jordan Hill for awhile.

It might be a couple weeks before they win another game.

Does that mean the lakers will be playing that bald white guy that's always jumping around on the bench??

The Phoenix Suns are discussing a trade for Rudy Gay with the Memphis Grizzlies, according to sources.
The Grizzlies have been shopping Gay to multiple teams around the NBA.
The Grizzlies have a strong desire to acquire Jared Dudley and a future first round pick.
Memphis has delivered trade proposals to several teams as they attempt to decrease their salary obligations for future seasons.
The Grizzlies' new front office and ownership has doubt on whether they are currently constructed to compete for a place in the Finals.

For? They don't need Andy V. We have the picks but what player would they want as bad as they want Dudley?

    LMAO at KG!!!
Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Garnett spoke on the phone in the wake of their confrontation on Monday, according to a source.Garnett and Anthony exchanged several verbal jabs during the game, leading Anthony to seek out Garnett after the game.
Garnett told Anthony that his wife "tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios," according to various reports.

Pacers beat the Heat tonight 87-77.

Pacers defense has been unreal this season, FG% wise. I think Heat shot near 42% tonight which isnt terrible. But Indy is on pace to hold opponents below 41% which I think would only be the 3rd time in the last 10 years in the NBA.

Also in the Pacers-Heat game of note. Ray Allen was held scoreless for the 2nd time in his career.

[h=3]Raptors Interested In Trading For Rudy Gay[/h] Jan 09, 2013 3:32 AM EST
The Toronto Raptors are amongst the teams interested in trading for Rudy Gay should the Memphis Grizzlies decide to trade him, according to sources.
The Raptors have had preliminary talks with the Grizzlies.
Toronto is said to be offering a package centered around Jose Calderon, Ed Davis and future picks for Gay.
The Grizzlies are exploring trade scenarios for Gay, but have not yet determined if they will absolutely move him before the February deadline.
The Raptors tried to trade for Gay in June, even offering a package including their eighth overall pick that became Terrence Ross.
  • Pick6
Lakers need to get their shit together and make the 8 seed so the Cavs can swap Miami's pick for LA's.
