Talking out of one's ass would be making statements such as "they will just sign FAs to replace Pierce and Garnett once they retire". Like there is solid sample data to support that statement.
Seriously? It's a blanket statement to say a basketball team in New York City would be able to use Garnett and Pierce's retired contracts to attract a big free agent? In a league where free agents sign for big city teams, it's crazy to think one would go to New York to play with a good supporting cast (D Will, Joe Johnson, Lopez) on a team that has money to spend?
