wildcats20Lol yeah the Ravens official Twitter posted a comparison picture. Pretty laughable.

Turnout was disasterous.

It is. I would assume the pic gochiefs posted was closest to their arena. Overall pathetic parade, but not really surprising.Automatik;1462592 wrote:lol damn....I thought the first pic was legit. -
wes_mantoothI think the Miami heat have a terrible fan base, but who cares about a parade crowd

Someone compared the Lakers parade to the Heat parade on Twitter, and pointed out that the Heat parade was almost double the distance of the Lakers. Don't know if thats true or not.
Obviously, not saying Heat has the same fanbase as LA, that would be ridiculous. But it would explain why some areas were a little thin in spots as the first photo shows. Well, that and the fact that Miami fans are the worst of course. -

They are pretty shitty. Not sure if this was sarcasm, but if it was are you really trying to say otherwise?GoChiefs;1462600 wrote:Someone compared the Lakers parade to the Heat parade on Twitter, and pointed out that the Heat parade was almost double the distance of the Lakers. No sarcasm at all. Game 6 proved that. -

Nobody is going to pretend they are a good fan base, but you tried to make it worse than it was by finding the worst picture possible and comparing to better pictures from other parades. Seems like they had a pretty good turnout overall but that didn't fit the overall narrative so you had to make it seem otherwise.like_that;1462603 wrote:They are pretty ****ty. Heretic
Lot bigger crowd there than the preseason game I was at last year. But I recognize my friend's camper we took up. Or old camper, since he and his wife upgraded to a bigger one this year. The white-with-brown-stripe one near the "exit only" sign. 'Twas a good time. Lots of intoxicants of all varieties flowing freely. And that's all I can ask for of any gathering I'm at.Commander of Awesome;1462585 wrote:

I posted the first photo I saw all over social media, so sue me for making shitty fans look even worse.elbuckeye28;1462619 wrote:Nobody is going to pretend they are a good fan base, but you tried to make it worse than it was by finding the worst picture possible and comparing to better pictures from other parades. Hb31187I understand that Dwight QQing is annoying and all, but Im not quite sure why any fans of the Lakers would want him to do anything but stay. The guy averaged 17 points, and lead the league in rebounding, top 5 in blocks. A PF/C cannot control a game and make up for other players on his team being horrible. If he were a guard or something and lead the team or could more directly impact how the team performed then Id agree with the criticism he got so much of.

Besides Bynum, what else (if anything) did LA give up in the trade to acquire Dwight?Hb31187;1463634 wrote:I understand that Dwight QQing is annoying and all, but Im not quite sure why any fans of the Lakers would want him to do anything but stay. Also, I agree that LA should want to keep him. But he is certainly a player that you have to treat with kid gloves moving forward. -

There are rumors out there that if he re-signs then it could open the door to getting Phil back.
I have never liked Dwight as a player, but with Kobe's future up in the air, they need a centerpiece. And that could definitely be Howard. -

You think Phil would come back after what they pulled last time? Or do you think hell kinda say thanks but no thanks?wildcats20;1463658 wrote:There are rumors out there that if he re-signs then it could open the door to getting Phil back.

like_thatJust got an espn notification that Dwight is unlikely to sign with the lakers due to playing style. Thinks mavs are a good fit.

Depends if Jeannie is on charge or not, IMO.
Also, Broussard is now throwing it out there that Howard is unlikely to re-sign in LA. So there's that.
