    Norris Cole
    Mike Miller
    Ray Allen
    Shane Battier
    Chris Anderson
    Rashard Lewis
    Joel Anthony
    Jame Jones

Can anyone name a better bench? Honest question.

Denver and the Clippers easily. I would also take Utah's bench when Hayward is filling 6th man duties.

If I wasn't drunk at a bar id spend the time needed to completely shoot you down. As it stands, ill simply posit a giant LOL

I would have to see names to compare.

    That's fine, I was asking.

The Clippers had Bledsoe, Crawford, Barnes, and Odom off the bench.

Denver has Javale, Wilson Chandler, Andre Miller, and Brewer.

Mike Miller - 5 years ago
Ray Allen - 5 years ago
    Shane Battier - in college
    Chris Anderson

    Joel Anthony
James Jones - pick about half-dozen games in his career

The Miami bench has a bunch of specialists, but lets face it, the names are stronger than the games at this point. If you shut down the 1 or 2 things each guy does at a very high level, it's a pretty crappy bench.

6-12 can be the next 7 guys who post on this thread. If the big 3 are scoring 80 points and ramming it down the throats every possession, it doesn't matter.

That's all Miami has. Names. Their bench is decent, but it looks a lot better due to name recognition than it actually is.

Yeah I think I would take those as well, but I think Miami's bench fits their team needs more. I guess that's why I said anyone would want their bench. Every player fills a role which is what you want. Their players also do the intangible things, something those Clipper players(asides from Barnes) don't do. All someone like Crawford can do is score. Pretty good debate though.

I agree with both of you Goon and AZU, most of those guys are older and past their primes.

    Fuck Steven A Smif.

Without looking up how his numbers have changed over the past 2-3 years, it seems like Bosh's value has really taken a shit. When/if they decide to trade him, I wonder what they'll get in return. I'm just going off instinct, but it's like for every good game he has, he has three where he isn't impacting.

He is an example of one of those NBA players that got great numbers being on an average (or bad) team. Happens all the time in the NBA.

I agree that he went from a bad team to a great one, but happens all the time? I don't know that you're necessarily wrong, but Bosh was averaging 24/10 and his numbers are nearly cut in half, in the playoffs at least.

Notable people missing from being called out here:

Chris Bosh on #3 "The Fall Guy"

Kobe Bryant on #4 "The Flying Fibula"

    And

LeBron James... although I'm not sure which one best suits him, possibly #2 "The Ric Flair"

Rotinaj reporting that Iguodala is overrated. Terrible from downtown and shot 57% from the stripe last year.

Reports are that the Clippers are attempting to trade DeAndre Jordan and 2 1st round picks to the Celtics for KG and Doc Rivers (obviously not technically trading for Doc but would essentially be doing so).

This is a pretty big trade if it goes down.

NBC Sports is saying Pierce is tied into this as well, but it's very unlikely to actually happen.

I haven't seen anything about Pierce yet.

Also, I look at this saying that everyone wants to get away from Rondo (Not really, but I just always felt like he was the annoying little brother that no one liked but they put up with anyways).

I saw something about the deal on my timeline with Pierce being included as well. Dont care enough to look it up.

With or without Pierce the Clippers would absolutely be getting bent over in the trade. Two first rounders (from a historically shitty franchise) and a solid starter for another decade to basically rent a coach and two washed up players for 1-2 years tops? No thanks. Im sure Doc and KG and possibly Pierce are interested in this because they are banking on CP3 being there, which I really doubt. Reports are that him and D12 have been talking about finding a way to team up for months.

I've seen the reports about Chris Paul and Dwight Howard wanting to land in the same spot, but I haven't seen anything about where that spot could be.
