Cleveland Indians vs New York Yankees series thread

  • Con_Alma
Game one RHP Hiroki Kuroda (6-7, 3.57 ERA) vs. RHP Josh Tomlin (3-4, 5.12 ERA)

Could be a rainy game. Sounds like the tarp is still on the field.

Lets hope that Tomlin can be good for the first 2 times through the line-up, we get a lead, and the heavens open up. Cause a 3rd time versus the Yankees will be HR Derby. We need this thing to go 5 innings, or win like 14-12
  • Con_Alma
Winning 14-12 isn't going to happen.

Even the Indians can get lucky every once in awhile.

The Yanks have a right hander going, so only Damon in left is the only really weak spot in the order. Good chance to win tonite.

Seeing Jeter bat and talking about him getting 3000 hits last year made me think about my old pal, riders1. I'll have to ask him where he's been. Ha ha!

    Down 2-0....that's probably the ballgame.

    Was thinking the same thing.
  • BR1986FB
Down 4-0 and we aren't out of the 2nd. I smell bloodbath.

    Down 6-0

    Next update we'll be down 8-0 :)

    Tomlin sucks.
  • HitsRus
What a terrible outing by Tomlin:(...SMFH.

    indians are poo
  • HitsRus
Let's try to stay optimistic....Masterson is on the hill toonite vs. Phil Hughes.

    Go Tribe!
  • BRF
Sure wasn't much discussion last night and for good reason.

    I'll be optimistic.

    I think we win tonight.

    This.

Apparently Perez was running his mouth to the NY media...that is all KNR was talking about today.

Yep. He was telling Cleveland fans they needed to "get over Lebron" and was ripping on the fans undying love for the Browns while the Indians didn't get the support.
  • wes_mantooth
    over/under on Tribe runs 1?

    I will take the under

He needs to shut his mouth and just play.
  • like_that
If perez didn't grow up in florida, maybe he would understand the concept of "fan loyalty."

    What a dipshit.
  • DeadliestWarrior34
Its unbelievable how much we've gotten fucked over the series
  • TBone14
Yankees on the board with a bullshit infield single. It was a foul ball called fair. Manny has to get fucking tossed there. Instead he comes out like he at book club with the ump.

And now 2 more runs in. Unreal

Perez is a dumbass. The Browns were 26th in the NFL last year in attendance when looking at capacity.

The thing is, EVERY NFL team gets support. Only 6 teams in the league filled less than 90% of seats on average. Only 5 teams in MLB fill over 90% capacity.

Fans get more excited over something that happens 8 times a year than 81. Especially when it comes to easily the most popular sport in the country. In a football town.
  • hoops23
And so what if the Indians are "winning" it's not like we all think this team is legit... And in the end, we know nothing will be done.
  • Footwedge
Perez just wants to take his talents elsewhere. I don't blame him really.
