Bynum is a dumb fucking retard. That's why. He would be a TERRIBLE representation of Team USA.

who the hell cares, he's one of the best bigs in the world and this team needs size. Tyson gets in foul trouble against Spain and we may be in serious trouble.

We are going to roll everyone.

Because they want guys who will represent the country well, in addition to being great players.

Westbrooks an idiot too at times, Dwight is the biggest primadonna in the game and he helped us win in 08. I understand Bynum is childish at times but he is exactly what the team needs.

I mean if this team would beat the DT, I don't think Spain will be a problem.

Spain is REALLY good, don't be surprised if they push us just like the championship game in 08.

They cut it close at the end with a big run. We still handled them. No Rubio this time.

Rubio did next to nothing in the 08 Olympics.

You know nothing about basketball then.

KD had 24 and 10. Literally looked liked he wasn't even trying AT ALL.

Looks like a repeat performance then for him in 2012.

Also with the US smashing any team they play.

lol, I'm just a realist. That team was loaded no doubt, 11 hall of famers. How many future hall of famers does this team have? 12 is faster, more athletic and explosive. What they lack in size(thanks to Dwight's injury and Bosh's) they make up for in versatility. Vegas set the line at 8 which is about right. 20-25 point blowout is laughable when you look at the match ups and the unselfishness of the team.

Except this time we have no Dwight, no Bosh and Spain has both Gasols and Ibaka on the front line, could cause some serious problems.

I don't give a shit about the team as a whole. The fact you are saying Chandler would match up against Robinson shows your complete lack of knowledge and utter bias towards this present team.

This team would get pushed around by the dt. No one on this team outside of maybe chandler could match the physicality of that team. We all know how lebron is when he gets pushed around or fouled hard at the rim multiple times. He starts settling for jumpers I'm sorry but the dt would smash this team

It was hard on Bron against Indy. Imagine Ewing, Barkley, Malone, and Robinson pushing his ass around.

One game is completely different than an entire series, and Lebron is a physical player on both ends.

Please man, you thinking that David Robinson is going to to nuts on that team is silly. If Dwight were on this team he would have no problem keeping him or Ewing in check. Those guys are going to get their numbers against anyone. If it were Shaq or Hakeem you may have an argument. Robinson would probably only even play half of the damn game. Another point, the international game today is 10 times better than what it was then, not even close.

Dwight isn't on this team. So that point is moot.

LOL dwight/chandler/lebron/etc. would try and flop and these guys would be like wtf is this shit you pussies? You are out of your mind if you think Chandler would do anything against one of the best centers of all time. Where as Chandler is a hack who won't even make the HOF.

Again, he doesn't have to score, all he has to do is play great D(which he always does), and rebound. He isn't going to stop them but his defensive ability and length would slow them down enough. You're laughable if you think they would get any touches anyway, Jordan would be trying to score 50 if that game ever happened.

yeah, and westbrook would facilitate the offense better than stockton

Also, what I'm saying is Robinson actually has post moves. He has an offensive game. Chandler wouldn't be able to stop him. It's hilarious you think this though.

Do you realize that the U.S. pretty much sent a "worse" team to the World Tournament 2 years ago, and they smoked everybody? Also, Spain pretty much had the same team they do now, and they didn't even make the finals.

Also LMAO at thinking Chandler hangs with Robinson.

This team couldnt stop the DT inside. 2 of the top 3 PF ever (Duncan being the other) and 2 of the greatest C ever. The two best PGs of all time (though Magic was at the end...kinda like Kobe...). The best player of all time (LeBron is gonna end up close). But this team looked to the bigs. Just look at the scoring averages. Chuck was DOMINANT in 1992. Ewing, and Malone were at the top of their game as well.

The DT had a bench that would ROLL this teams bench.

Literally, the only thing close imo, would be the top. LeBron, Durant and Kobe. Thats close to Jordan, Barkley and I guess Magic would be 3rd. But they had so many guys close to #3, and thats the difference. Malone, Ewing, Mullens was in the prime of his great career.
