Yeah, really. If you're going to bitch about it go create your own threadCon_Alma;1195956 wrote:SO which Reds' fan is going to start their single game thread? -
Terry_Tate
Probably because Reds fans started the threads. We learned our lesson.hoops23;1195957 wrote:I heard the Reds were going to dominate us last year as well. -

I will say Josh tomlin in GABP will probably equal a Reds win. He tends to serve them up. -
Terry_TateWho is going to any of the games? I'll be there tomorrow night and probably Wednesday night. Going to try to go Thursday during the day but we'll see.

SportsAndLadyPosts from game threads after the game is over (from the first page only):
Reds/Pirates game 3--22 posts
Reds/Tigers game 3--19 posts
Reds/Tigers game 2--3 posts (27 posts total..Saturday game..not much action)
Reds/Tigers game 1--20 posts
I highly doubt Indians fans get that many more posts after the end of the games. lol -

It's just a pattern that we've gotten used to and love. The series threads are fine, but it's easier to have game threads to just talk about the game whether than seeing where the talk about the current game starts. I'd get used to either way, but I like how the Reds threads are obviously.
With that being said, the Reds will now dominate this series since this thread was started by an Indians fan.
You forgot the part where mhs constantly tells us how bad Joey Votto is. -

Why would we do that? Series threads are genius! You get to look back through the thread to sum up the series!hoops23;1195958 wrote:Yeah, really. If you're going to bitch about it go create your own thread -
Con_AlmaWhat does the number of posts impact? I would think it adds to the merits of the thread as opposed to inspire the need for a new one.

I don't know if they are genius but your question regarding why create a new one is one I have been asking?SportsAndLady;1195968 wrote:Why would we do that? Series threads are genius! You get to look back through the thread to sum up the series! -

And how him having the highest batting average with RISP for ANY PLAYER SINCE 1960 actually led to a bad at-bat, lol. His analysis is fine, that one just had me cracking up.se-alum;1195967 wrote:You forgot the part where mhs constantly tells us how bad Joey Votto is. -

Keep it organized..if I miss watching a game and want to go back and re-read the game thread, I don't have to go through a series thread to get to where I want to be. I can just read a thread in it's entirety. Or lets say I remember I made a bold prediction in Homer Bailey's first start that he'd have a good year, I can go back to that thread in particular and find it easily.Con_Alma;1195973 wrote:I don't know if they are genius but your question regarding why create a new one is one I have been asking? -

You should clearly start a single game thread.SportsAndLady;1195980 wrote:Keep it organized..if I miss watching a game and want to go back and re-read the game thread, I don't have to go through a series thread to get to where I want to be. Organization combines the games into a single series thread for me. It's preference. -

I agree, only because the "go to last read post" button doesn't work.SportsAndLady;1195980 wrote:Keep it organized..if I miss watching a game and want to go back and re-read the game thread, I don't have to go through a series thread to get to where I want to be. Lol, you know the specific start you made the post, Im sure you know the series as well.SportsAndLady;1195980 wrote:Keep it organized..if I miss watching a game and want to go back and re-read the game thread, I don't have to go through a series thread to get to where I want to be. Con_AlmaWill Reds' fans create single game threads?
-
hoops23My god. No wonder Reds threads have inflated in overall post counts...
-
Terry_TateDamn it. I just saw Jeanmar Gomez's stats for his last 3 starts. He's due for a 7 inning 1 run performance. Early congrats on winning game 1 Indians fans.

This isn't Nazi Germany, anyone is welcome to start single game threads. It's what we did last year.Con_Alma;1195996 wrote:Will Reds' fans create single game threads? -

I'll be shocked if he doesn't strike out Votto 5 times.Terry_Tate;1196000 wrote:Damn it. I just saw Jeanmar Gomez's stats for his last 3 starts. He's due for a 7 inning 1 run performance. Early congrats on winning game 1 Indians fans. -

What? Of course anyone and everyone is welcome on any thread or even to start one. Will Red's fans create a single game thread so it's more organised and to their liking? -
SportsAndLady
Yeah but what if it's game 2..and the post was right in the middle of 25 pages? It'd take decades to find that!Laley23;1195995 wrote:Lol, you know the specific start you made the post, Im sure you know the series as well.
But if I know it was during the 2nd game of the Astros series, it's on the 1st page and it doesn't matter how long the game thread is. -

I'm sure someone will start one.Con_Alma;1196003 wrote:????

You would welcome Hitler to your game thread?Con_Alma;1196003 wrote:????

Forget that, I'm starting a Nazi-free game thread...not all are welcomed -
Con_AlmaIt's not for me to welcome or restrict anyone. As I understand it right now the site owner welcomes anyone....unless they've been banned.

Terry_TateBTW, this has to be the weakest trash talk I've ever seen leading up to any kind of sporting event. Arguing over which is the better way to do threads for baseball games? I'm ashamed.
I'll get this started right. Cleveland sucks.
