Lol typical turdo tactic too. Acting like he does nothing wrong. It's quite comical that he thinks nobody sniffs his bullshit.

This... People would much rather sit at home on their fat a**es and watch their ginormous TV's with all you can eat food and beer at minimal cost than buying 2 $12 nose bleed tickets, paying $10 for parking, 4 $8 beers, 2 $5 hot dogs, 1 $6 nacho supreme, and a $3 cotton candy. It's practically $100 to go to the park anymore, and to watch what? Jack Hannahan? Casey Kotchman? Brantley? C'mon! No one wants to spend that kind of money these days to go watch mediocre players manufacture runs to win a game 3-2. If Chris Perez gives me tickets for free with a food voucher, I may be willing to pay for the parking and go to a game... otherwise, shut your mouth you rich b*stard.

    It's simple..

Did he post something stupid as hell? Yep.
Was it posted to deliberately piss people off? No.
Did people tell him that he was dead wrong? Yep. And that should be the end of it.

I understand you guys don't like him, and even made up a term (passive aggressive trolling) for it. But be realistic about it.

Anyway, back on topic. Pure Rage is a dumbass for not realizing this falls squarely on Dolan.

Keep their little pet names you deleveloped to the basement too.

I and anyone who's tried to talk sports with turdo/post on the OC disagree with you on this one. Plain and simple you guys are already laxing on your new rules.

+1 lol. If that's the type of shit you can get away with, I can't wait to troll other posters I don't like.

There is a reason why the dipshit was gone for months, comes back for a few days, and wins his first round matchup against LJ in the worst competition.

We are.... because "turdo" ie pet names are not allowed....lol

I shall now infract all posts from people without taking into account any context and base it solely on the poster's past. The new rules obviously suggest this is how it should be done.

personally, i don't know how people still attend nfl games considering how much better of an experience it is to watch at home

It was obvious trolling by a poster with a vast history of doing so. Don't want to do what Justin/rest of the mods are supposed to do with the new rule policy thats fine. But don't try and defend it as that was anything other than trolling.

You want to cater to that dipshit instead of posters like hoops thats fine, but don't start this whole "we're changing things up around here and enforcing the rules" BS only to drop the agenda is less than a week.

No, I am just giving everyone the benefit of the doubt....I don't want to infract anyone. But if his is infraction.....so is yours....plain and simple.

As is calling him a dipshit.

I understand what you're saying, I just disagree. If you guys really want to change this site (which justin stated is the case) it starts here. Jordo is a poster that continues to post idioitic dribble and is the constant contrarian. He only makes these post to be "that guy" and rile people up. You either stop that BS, or let posters like myself call him out on his BS and put him in his place. Can't be wishy washy just because he didn't use a "pet name". All you have to do is look at his FB group that someone made to pwn the idiot about welching on bets to see his true objective.

That or Justin gives him a free pass to do what he pleases since he went to his alma mater.

You're one to know that is an infractable offense.

I get that people don't like Jordo because of his history of trolling Cleveland fans, but come on, he has a legitimate point here. It's embarrassing that Indians fans haven't been showing up lately, they have shown some promise over the last year and there is a lot of young talent on this team that is worth watching. Although they weren't necessarily good last year, you have to admit there was some genuine excitement surrounding the team.
  • vball10set
Acta's proven he's not a good coach, so I think the fans are forever skeptical (aka apathetic)....jmo

And one. Good post. For having the 10th lowest payroll, the team actually has done better than I ever thought they would. As for last year's collapse, a lot of it had to do with injuries. Choo, Sizemore, Santana, Cabrera, Pronk..all out for months, not weeks.... several pitchers as well.

This year, they've done a lot better than expected as well...except for the POS Ubaldo. They have a better record than Philly, the Yanks and Boston...payrolls ranging between 178 and 197 million per year (top 3 in baseball). If the tribe gets decimated by injuries again this year, look for another free fall.. If they stay healthy, and find a replacement for Ubaldo, they might make the playoffs. And then, who knows?

If I lived in the Cleveland area, I would probably go to 10 games a year....easily. As it is, I make it up there maybe twice.

As for Perez' remarks, it's a 2 way street. It's true, Detroit shouldn't be outdrawing Cleveland by a 2 to 1 margin...but they do. Part of the equation that Perez failed to mention is that their owner spends money on stars (Cabrera, Fielder, Victor)

Perez will bide his time here....and then take over in Boston or New York.
  • hoops23
Detroit's population is basically twice as big as Cleveland's, so outdrawing them "2:1" shouldn't be hard to fathom. Detroit's owner also spent money on the team to improve them.

Also, Justin Masterson has certainly done better than expected!

The attendance is a joke, but I don't think anybody disagrees with that.
  • Footwedge
    Inner city yes...outside suburbs included...no.
  • ts1227
PS: if anyone wants to see the attendance numbers for this year, here you go
    http://espn.go.com/mlb/attendance

That is updated through yesterday as of right now, it looks like.

    Footwedge;1176997 wrote:Inner city yes...outside suburbs included...no.
Actually, yes. The CSA of Detroit is ranked 11th with 5.2 million while Cleveland's is ranked 15th with 2.8 million.

Now, before you get technical, it's not quite doubled, but still a bit more.
  • jordo212000
I really can't win. I was honestly defending the Indians. I like Choo, Santana, and Asdrubal a lot. The team is talented and it is shame that more people don't watch them. The Browns do not have "marketable" talent yet sell out every game. The Cavs had strong attendance and they weren't good either.

The Indians are the red headed step children in the city and they are the ones closest to winning a title. Fans bicker about ownership, but say what you will the team is trending in the right direction.

EDIT. Looks like the Cavs attendance trailed off towards the end of the season, but they still finished 19th in attendance which was more than what Indiana got

Exactly. They could have put an end to his bullshit from the beginning, instead they let him "run amok" with his typical bullshit. You can't expect people to not put him in his place if he is going to be the typical fuckhead that he is. As COA has said, either give him a warning, or allow us to tell him to fuck off. Both solutions work for me.
