Only missed the WC by 11 games. Soooooo close though.

Nope. I want someone who doesn't feel like I owe them my presence. I don't. I never will.

I want them to keep doing their job on the field. That may attract me and my family. It also may simply make us want to listen to them more on the radio. It won't make me feel obligated to them in anyway. It' just baseball.

    Nope. Nothing else. Carry on.

Next time I catch a game up there I will let you guys know what you're missing

exactly. That is like that year the Indians won a hundred games and finished 40 games ahead of 2nd place. That 2nd place team should have been happy because of where they finished in the division...lulz

Ok, well stop over and say hi...I will be the guy searching for the right field bleachers

No need. I'll probably be there before you. It's starnge that people try and convince others to go. People either want to go or not. There's not more to it than that.

Cool. While you're at it, you might find the only team close to attending in the city on the field.

I have no idea what this means.

Anyhow...enough of dealing with the passive aggressive stuff.....

I will be there on Wednesday, so I am curious to see how Perez is received in person

    Syntax much?

We were in 2nd place in the worst division in baseball. That is hardly an accomplishment. Nevermind the fact that we were 15 GB of the 1st place team

I've been to 5 games this year and a plethora more over the last few years. I know what I'm missing by not going. Expensive food and beer.

Everything else is the same as watching it on TV or listening to it on the radio.

I do like that you can leave and come back in this year. Now we can wander over to Wilberts for 2 dollar domestics and then head back in...lol

They were 50-67 after May 23rd last year. One of the 5 worst teams in baseball over the last 4 months. That's pretty solid.

They were almost an average team last year. They finished below average.

What I'd pay to go to some games in Cleveland. Instead I have to watch on mlb.tv. I've watched almost every game this year and I'm excited to watch them since they are in first. I hope it lasts. San Diego baseball is a joke. Free tickets all the time and still no one goes. Hell they even give E4 and below free season tickets.

How is their stadium out there? New ballparks fascinate me

Stadium is very nice. I like how they have faux buildings built into it. Past the outfield they have a pretty nice park with statues of Padre greats and also a mini baseball field for kids to play.

i think the sabathia trade and especially the lee trade did a lot of damage to the fan base. it's hard to come back from trading cy young award winners in back-to-back years. its even harder knowing you have nothing to show for them (not really counting michael brantley, matt laporta or lou marson).

also think with shrinking population numbers in cities all over northeastern ohio, there are fewer and fewer diehards left. indians baseball and baseball in general is seen more as entertainment and not as a can't miss way of life that it used to be

Sounds like an infractable offense to me.

So am I allowed to pwn this idiot for his passive aggressive trolling, or will I get an infraction, just like he should be getting one?

He wasn't trolling, he was just completely fucking wrong.

So nothing new I see. Glad the new rules are really working!

I mean, I am ok with the new rules I guess (kinda), but if you guys are going to let him get away with his typical POS passive aggressive bullshit, then we should be able to respond appropriately. By appropriately I mean in the typical way where jordo gets his feelings hurt, and he stops posting here, like he did earlier (sign of a pussy) before Justin implemented the new rules

I'm trolling for defending the Indians?

You weren't "defending" the indians. You were being a dumb fuck.
