Masters week...Yes Sir!

IggyPride00Weather is supposed to be tougher in the morning tomorrow than the afternoon. Phil will have to shoot his 65 in the unfavorable conditions as he is out early.

Where does iggy come up w/ this shit? -

I guess Jim Nantz is the dipshit then because he was the one commenting on how it will be harder for Phil and the others in the morning to shoot a low number to get back into it if the weather being predicted happens. He was the one saying the guys out in the afternoon got the better end of the draw.Where does iggy come up w/ this ****? -

Excellent point. I think that's why I hate iggy so much...he makes these outrageous statements ("HES DONE!") leaving zero doubt, as if whatever he says will 100% happen. You don't know shit iggy, just like the rest of us.like_that;1138174 wrote:Did Nantz say Phil is done? -

At least as a reds fan you can take a break from his "we are doomed" type posts. Im afraid im stuck with him regardless of which Cleveland thread I am on. -
SportsAndLadylike that, He's actually been venturing over to Reds threads lately SMH
IggyPride00;1134785 wrote:While he is a great player, I don't think he is ever going to be more than a 30/100 guy on average (some years better than others) and that is just a lot of money for a guy who isn't a 40/130 guy like a Pujols/Arod/Fielder were in their monster years.
...
I applaud the Reds for having a brass pair like that to pay the guy, but I just think he could have been had for about $30-40 million less since so many teams have already tied up their first baseman for similar deals. Outside of the Cubs, I am not sure who else would have been able to pay him for than 160-170 million since the big markets were all set for the next decade at the position.
He had TJS, iggy, he didn't have a leg amputated.IggyPride00;1126256 wrote:Wow, he went from having originally signed that 4 year $44 million dollar deal with the Phillies, to the 1 year deal w/ the Reds, to now Tommy John in the span of a few months.
He might never see that money again. A cautionary tale to younger guys who are Scott Boras clients to not always worry about playing hardball and holding out for every last dollar.
IggyPride00;1067118 wrote:As a Tribe fan I can tell you that it is imperative for the Reds to get off to a quick start, because if they don't, all the sudden the issue of Votto/Phillips and their contracts will become the narrative. Kind of like in 2008 when we thought coming off the 07ALCS we were on the cusp of a World Series. We started slow and then all the sudden the CC and Lee contracts became the story, and the season unraveled.
lolIggyPride00;1065589 wrote:With the Prince Fielder contract yesterday does management start shopping Votto soon? There clearly is no way to keep him, and everyday he gets closer to free agency the deals will get smaller as far as what comes back in return. -
wildcats20Ok Ok....lol
We get it. -
IggyPride00You guys have a very unhealthy obsession with me. I am flattered and all that my comments/opinions have such an impact on your message board experience, but you might want to see someone about the amount of time you let me spend in your heads. It is just a message forum after all.
