Masters week...Yes Sir!

  • wildcats20
Saw a tweet that practice round badges were being scalped for between $700-$850.

Also, from Darren Rovell....prices of concessions...

Those prices are much more reasonable than I thought they'd be. Aren't beers at Muirfield $7 or so?
  • wildcats20
    Yup.

Augusta doesnt rip you off, comparatively speaking, to most pro events.

Billy Payne needs a reality check.

You just pay out the ass for tickets, but I heard Augusta is a lot better to go to compared to other tournaments. It's not as crowded and the galleries are smaller.

I went to the US Open when it was in Oakmont outside of Pittsburgh. It was about 100 degrees and a zoo.

I was also surprised to see beers were only $3.

My friend's father in law scored 2 passes for about a g each. They have 4 people going in different shifts throughout the days. Lucky bastards. :(

While I believe that Ginny Rometty should be a member, it is really the decsion of the Augusta National Golf Club.....and no one else.

The club will make their decision and then have to live with whatever the consequences of said decision are, if any.

    Tickets - $50
    Parking- Free
    Hotel in Augusta- $95/2
Chicken wrap, Ham & Cheese, Turkey & Cheese, four sweet teas, cheese and crackers- $14

Par 3 was rained out today. Friends of mine from Akron went to Myrtle last weekend, then to Augusta for practice rounds.
I like Sawgrass. Prices are good, concessions are high, but the women walking around make you forget about the golf. I'll be there the 14th for Tebow's charity event. I wonder if Urban will really show up.

I hope Tebow has extra security with you being in such a close proximity.

#fail. Tim was pretty much mobbed last year. I told his parents how awful it must have been for him. This year they have posted no outside items are allowed to be autographed. Only event programs, which they didn't have last year, will be signed. Hopefully this will cut way back on the ebay scumbags attending.

Fred Couples is due to be near the top for the 18th time in the last 30 years.

No, won the ticket lottery for a few passes so paid face value.

Martin Kaymer today at 16 during his practice round. Not the greatest video, but he skips it across the water and ends up with a hole in one.

    Happened yesterday I believe.

But it's something they do every year. Pretty cool.

16 is awesome with tee side stands and the hill to the left of the pond.

    Skip!

You mean, appealing to what their audience wants? Gee, how dumb of them. Why do they give a fuck what the leader board is supposed to be? They can list it however the hell they want.

As for the course, 15th green looks like a dong and balls this year, LOLOL
But, why do they care? They arent affiliated with the PGA. They can list the scores however they want. They dont even have to list the scoreboard that way on their actual coverage, but they do. Everyone is going to list it how they feel will get the information out that their audience wants to see.
  • wildcats20
They could list it from worst score to best, if they really wanted to.

Please cite this in the rules of golf.

It's by score and people the public gives a fuck about.
