But he won't be out of work long imo.
they just fired coach that won 10 games this year. Idiots, hopefully they fire that poor excuse of an offence line -
Ironman92Lovie does not deserve to be fired but I do think it's a time for a change with the Bears....same with the Cowboys.
Lovie will have it good very soon. -

He had to "bench" the car for winter apparently from what I read because it would start one day and he had to catch a ride to practice from someone who works at the appartment complex where he lives. He said it is flu season, and the car caught a cold.thavoice;1353866 wrote:Funny ya say this as I was watching a show about the money guys blow in sports and the rookie symposium and such that they attend about how to take care of their money and such. Looks like he took it to heart!
COuple years ago a kid from our HS got drafted...6th round I think. There was the lockout so no one was signing. We were talking to him and he mentioned how he knew of alot of his buddies who were drafted were already buying cars and houses and such....and almos had their first year's paycheck spent before they even signed!
He did vow that it will receive a full tune-up in the off-season and re-emerge when the weather gets warmer. Claims his kids will drive that car one day and that if it keeps breaking he will keep fixing it, because that is how he is.
I like this kid more and more as we learn more about him.
http://www.extremeskins.com/showthread.php?374630-WP-Alfred-Morris-benching-his-beloved-car-for-winterEarlier in the season, The Post’s Mike Jones told a great story about Alfred Morris and his 1991 Mazda 626, a car he named Bentley and often call his “baby” or his “boo.” He vowed to never give up on her, but the Redskins rookie told me yesterday that he fears for her health this winter.
“When I got back from Dallas, she wouldn’t start,” he said sadly. “I think she was mad at me for leaving her for so long.”
Morris had a meeting to get to at Redskins Park, so he asked one of the women who work in his apartment complex for a ride. When he returned home that night he was able to jumpstart Bentley, but he needs to get some wheels that will be more reliable in the cold weather.
“I’m still driving my baby, but for her health I gotta put her up,” Morris said, shaking his head.
“It’s flu season and stuff. Keep her warm.”
Morris told me that it’s important everyone knows that the benching is only temporary.
“Loyalty is rare nowadays, so it’s something I take pride in,” he explained. “When the weather warms up, she’ll come back out.” -
Ironman92I'd admire it more I think if he just said "hey, it gets me where I'm going and there are a lot more important things to spend my money on"
I'm sure he's just being funny but it's almost weird. -

Yeah, mixed feelings as a Bears fan. But I think this team has underachieved more than a few seasons under Lovie. After starting 7-1, this year may be one of them.gport_tennis;1353879 wrote:they just fired coach that won 10 games this year. Idiots, hopefully they fire that poor excuse of an offence line -

I guess I'm a Romo defender, but this is my logic: Romo is not elite. But he's a good quarterback. Makes high profile mistakes, but you don't throw for 4,000+ yards consistently and not be good. There isn't a QB that we can sign or trade for that is a drastic improvement. Because of that, we stick with him and solidify the team, especially the offensive line. The pressure that was on Romo last night and this year in general, was ridiculous. That first INT looked again like Romo and the receivers were on different pages. It looked like screen almost. 2nd receiver looks and catches it he has a lead blocker ahead. The 2nd INT was such a terribly under thrown ball. The third INT was a terrible decision under pressure. Demarco was his hot read. He got IMMEDIATE pressure up the middle so you look to dump it off. London Fletcher is one of the smartest LBs in the game. He out played Romo.Pick6;1353657 wrote:FUCK. Ive always been a defender of Romo, but Im done with his scrub ass. He has talent, but Dallas can never win a meaningful game with him. Done with Garrett, and done with scrub Hatcher, too. FUCK
You solidify the offensive line to allow the Cowboys to have a running game that is respectable and let Romo work off the run game. If you let Romo be a gunslinger, he will make bad mistakes under duress.
My whole point: we won't find somebody drastically better, so we have to build around him. -

Whisenhunt was never able to replace Warner.
Kevin Kolb should buy him something real nice next Christmas -

I read on another forum that AZ hasn't picked an Oline in the first 3 rounds of the draft in the last 5 years!!!jordo212000;1353983 wrote:Whisenhunt was never able to replace Warner.

I'd welcome Wiz back in Pittsburgh.
I'm hoping Haley is shown the door, but I don't think it will happen. -
thavoiceId like to see Whiz back in pittsburgh, no doubt.

Ironman92I'll third that....obviously replacing Haley.

I just don't want to hear about him.
I wish them a lovely 5-11 season -

Azubuike24Cardinals looking at Andy Reid.
The only team without a running identity and viable option at QB besides the Eagles... -
SpeedofsandYesterday Terrelle Pryor was 13/28. Less than 50%. He is fucking awful. He sucks. He stinks. He shouldn't even be on the field. He will never be a good QB in the NFL. He lost! Fucking loser!!

I agree Pryor stinks. However, it was his first game. He's on the Raiders. The game was meaningless. The Chargers have nothing to play for... -

That'd be awesome but surprising. Ben and Whiz had a rocky relationship. I always liked his playcalling though. -

Would Whiz work for Tomlin....shouldn't be a factor but pride is a consideration. -

Has there even been any rumbling regarding the possibility of Haley being canned?Ironman92;1354338 wrote:John Clayton said don't be surprised if Whisenhunt ends up back in Pittsburgh.
I haven't heard a thing.
