He threatened a lawsuit and his explanation was that a teammate put Adderall into a water bottle and he mistakenly drank it. Goodell is going soft!

I heard it was more chain of command issues than actual drug use.

I'm not a Tebow fan but at this point why dont they just give him the start?

Can he really do any worse than Sanchez?

They can't let him run their offense and to implement a full offense for him instead of just the packages he's been used in would take a lot of time. SoS being a douche aside, Tebow can't be a QB, but he can run his single wing offense well. The Jets probably just haven't implemented enough of it to make it feasible. Which shows their ignorance.

Or Ryan is too arrogant to play him so he doesnt look bad. Tebow coming in and looking good would make him look really bad. Just like his arrogance to stick with Sanchez all season.

And no I dont think Tebow is an answer long term for any team

as for pick6:: ryan probably is too arrogant.

There is a decent point to be made to go back to Sanchez that there isnt time to fully implement an offense catered to Tebow for Ryan to fall back on and of course he has. He gives taht explanation and on its face he does have a point.

But in reality there is no reason why Tebow cannot start and you run the normal offense and use the wildcat that Tebow was featured in without changing the personnel. I imagine Tebow would be more effective if they did that then to just bring him in on certain plays to run his small package of plays catered to him. Hell, when he comes in now ya know what is coming.

What think the biggest reason though is if it comes out and inspires the team, which he did in college, and in Denver, and they play well it makes Ryan look like a complete asshole for not playing him before this. Dont put him in = he cannot make plays.

As it was stated last year..>Tebow's true attributes dont show up in practice. Hell, as a backup QB in the NFL you dont get squat for snaps in practice. Most starters take well north of 90% if the snaps. McIlroy or whatever his name is stunk in a recent game.

Tannenbaum is getting fired Monday. Looks like they will keep Ryan & are stuck with Sanchez. Ryan will be canned if a better option at Head Coach comes up for the new GM

    Pryor starting.

Adrian Peterson saying he's going to attempt to qualify for the 2016 Summer Olympics in the 200 or 400. I don't think he could swing it, but it would be cool to see. An NFL Hall-of-Famer trying his hand at track and field? Old school.

I think that's awesome. I say no way he can do it....but the conditioning could make him a notch more lethal having even more speed.

I'd be surprised if he could beat 21 in the 200 right now and probably 49-50 in the 400. I imagine training a little could get him to 20.6-20.8 in the 200 and maybe 48 in the 400. I'd be surprised if he trained all off-season and got below 20.3 and 46.5....neither is going to the Olympics.....I'd be greatly impressed if he could get to a quarterfinal heat of the Olympic trials.

If he's serious, I wonder if that means retirement is an option in maybe 2 more years?

Doubtful....but maybe a Sanders career. Plenty of money

I think he could go for his Olympic dream and stay in football condition

The Giants need a Lions comeback or they are eliminated

Chad Henne needs to get a fucking clue...costing me big money today! I figured the Jags were locks getting 4...he's thrown 2 straight Pick-6's!

Lord I'd never put money on a last week NFL game that means nothing.

Exactly why I stayed away this week.

I dunno. I think it's easier in some of these games knowing how the teams will approach it. The Jags have covered 5 straight spreads...with Henne at QB.

Which can also say....he's due not to cover

I also took Carolina +4.5, Buffalo -3.5 and New York Giants -8. The Giants actually have a reason to play, but more that aside, my thinking was really geared toward how much of a mess the Eagles and Jets are...so I bet against them.

Huge play. Luck to Hilton for 70. Colts up 12...
  • Azubuike24
Schaub picked again. Colts are a few minutes off the clock from putting this one to bed.
