Reds spring training 2012

  So excited to get this season started!!
  Homer comes in at 225 pounds. Hopefully that will help him to stay healthy.
  Arroyo says the velocity is back(though I don't consider 88 velocity, lol).
  ON PAPER, this team looks really good. From rotation to pen to bench players.
  Can't wait!!

  Don't think I've ever been more excited for a Reds season (granted, I'm young).
  
  I can't wait. I never really pay attention to spring training and preseason, but this year I definitely will.

  Right? Ha as a little kid I never really liked like baseball at all, that's why I played lacrosse in the spring instead, but as I've gotten older I've really started to like it

  Oh I've always loved baseball, especially the Reds. They've been my favorite team since forever. I just never really got into spring training because the seasons so god damn long I figured why pay attention to spring ball.
  
  But this Reds team has some serious potential, and that's got me really excited for the season.

  If chapman doesn't win the #5 spot, do they send him to Louisville to start or use him in the pen in cinci. Will be a big decision.

  I'd think they send him down so he can continue to get his stamina and a feel for big league starting pitching. If he does well, he's the first guy you bring up when somebody goes down or sucks

  We ended up spending 4 days watching practice. I highly recommend going down before games start if you ever get the chance.

  And that makes that trade well worth it. We gave up a lot for 1 year of Marshall, but now that we have him for 3 years we clearly won the trade.
