Exactly, the #1 defense in the NFL can't stop a HS offense? The haters are getting really desparate.

    #Tebowed

Yep. He will never run an offense like GB or NO, but he had quite a few nice passes today. For people who are giving him no credit as a passer, he deserves to get some credit because he was hitting the bombs perfectly today.

Theyre gonna get stomped out next week, and teams are gonna catch onto this crap next year
How is running up the middle consistently and then taking advantage of the secondary creeping up for the deep ball a "gimmick"? What the hell are you talking about? Is there some NFL rule that you can't throw the ball deep? Or is it just Tebow that you hate? So, Brees, Brady and Rogers can't throw deep off of play action and broken plays?

Steelers pass D gets killed when they don't get pressure. This isn't something new and really not something to be all that uppity about

I think so too. The book will be out on this option offense next year.

They were suppose to get stomped out this week.

I feel bad for Bronco management, now they will be put in a bad position in the off season where they have to keep him long term and that will be their undoing going forward.

No, he won't but he can be very effective in this type of offense as he was today.

The Patriots are able to score a lot of points on denver.

It's really quite simple. Line up side by side film of the typical high school offense (run option, with simple routes that work because the defense is playing the run to an extreme extent) and it will look almost identical to the Broncos offense.

Why couldn't the Steelers stop it? Because their corners failed to perform at a high level today when they put 8 in the box.

If you dont see how the offense theyre running is gimmicky, then theres really no point in arguing with you

Seriously, what is the gimmick? Someone explain it to me, I think they ran 1 option play where he pitched it all game. Those dives up the middle are a gimmick? The QB running is a gimmick? Throwing deep is a gimmick? Where was the gimmick?

Because the runs are from the shotgun, that makes it a gimmick? If it's the same result, who the fuck cares how they line up at the snap?

    High level? Jesus....lowest level ever

I thought theyd get beat but not stomped out. The Steelers are too banged up on offense to blow anybody out.

NE is firing on all cylinders and will put up enough points that Tebow wont be able to match TD's with Brady

Yeah it sucks getting to the Playoffs and winning for the first time since 1999 going forward with the QB that brought you there.

wonder if there is any chance Dawkins comes back next week? Could make things a little more interesting.
  • tk421
I'm serious, Hb31187 explain what was the gimmick. I obviously didn't see it.

It is a high school offense. It's not a gimmick as much as it is incredibly simple.

You don't get it, I saw it with my own eyes with the Dolphins in 08, next year the book was out and it was all over.

So, what's wrong with that? What makes anyone think it won't work next year? They run up the middle, around the end, play action pass deep. How is this any different than any other offense? Only difference is the shotgun.
