Exactly why trying him at MLB would be a fail as well.

He wasn't a HOFer but the guy could clear a hole for you or seal the the edge when called upon.

He's better than anyone we got at the position right now.

He finds a way to get in the end zone and that's what's important,'' said Shurmur. "Some guys have it and some guys don't.''

Really shurmur? Then give him the fucking ball.

This show really puts things into perspective. Shows why Browns fans are so loyal and passionate. #cleveland95

I like hearing these young guys talk about what happened to the Browns...let's hope it sheds some light as to why we are so passionate and just want to win! Hopefully these are the players that will turn our luck around and bring a winning tradition back to Cleveland!

If not, every rookie/new player should be forced to watch the documentary.

This Browns 95' documentary is WILD!! The
    whole coaching staff was Legendary!

They just DON'T know. For most it's just a paycheck and time to move on. It would be nice if this helped turn the light on but the guys who really need it to click (I'm talking to YOU, Greg Little) were probably playing their Xbox.

I think the Cleveland 95 show opened the eyes for some of the younger NFL players and even a "remember the good ol' days" for older veterans.
Nobody wants to see a Documentary on the Browns post-move to Baltimore but hopefully showing a successful twist will help Cleveland in the long run.

Jay Cutler could learn a thing or two from statements like this. I like what Weeden is saying but he's diving on a grenade for guys like Little. Granted, Weeden is off the mark on occasions but he's definitely trying to get the receivers in his corner with statements like this...

"As a quarterback, I understand there are going to be drops. If it's a mental thing, a focus thing, then I'll address it. But with these guys, I don't think it is. I think it's just I can be a little more accurate and make it easier on them." ~ Brandon Weeden on Dropped Passes.

Exactly. Little mentioned on the really big show probably wouldn't be watching this. Just doesn't get it.

Speaking of "doesn't get it"...When asked if he or some of the players would be watching this (during his press conference) Shurmur said "we'll have time to read books and watch movies when the season is over."

Now I can give Shurmur a bit of a pass as I'd rather cut off my own junk and eat it than live the life of an NFL coach (3-4 hours sleep, usually), but his players should be able to watch if they want to. Shurmur I'd rather have either putting together a winning game plan or attending a "Coaching for Dummies" seminar than watching a TV program.

Actually Shurmur, you will be able to watch movies and read books wayyyyy before the season is over.

If Haslam cans him as soon as he takes over it will be a pretty sweet birthday gift. I gave Shurmur the benefit of the doubt for awhile but I can't help but think this team would be one of the "Cinderella stories" (3-1) right now with a competent head coach.

For those who think the Durp will be shown the door the moment Haslam takes over, you might want to curb your enthusiasm...

    In the zone...

Gotta get the ball in that guys hands early and often. If he can go for 100+ on the ground against the Giants I think they have a fighting chance.

we can always hope. By then we may be 0-8, and he may feel differently.

I dont know..I could see him riding the season out with Shurmur no matter what. I mean is there really a point to fire him midseason? Not like we will make the playoffs because of it or something. I could see him keeping Shurmur, only to get as high of a draft pick as possible. Doesnt mean Shurmur doesnt deserve to be fired though.
