This is common...Cavs PR people trying to get that word out so no one moves ahead of them to pick up both their targets: Beal and MKG.Midstate01;1213592 wrote:Via andy katz:
Syracuse's Dion Waiters could be in play at No. 4 to Cleveland, according to those close to Waiters. That would shake up lottery a bit.

Commander of AwesomeIf the cavs move back up in the draft, would you guys be upset if they took Perry Jones?

I don't think P Jones is going to be a total bust..but I don't think he'll be good enough to be worthy of a top 15 pick. We're trying to build a championship team here, and P Jones isn't really going to help. He's better suited for a championship caliber team where he can learn and have no pressure right away.Commander of Awesome;1213707 wrote:If the cavs move back up in the draft, would you guys be upset if they took Perry Jones? -

I'm not sure that he would have much pressure right away in Cleveland. Kyrie is the man, then throw in whoever we'd take at #4, plus Tristan from last year I think it would be a good spot for PJ3 to develop. Although if the Cavs move back up, I'd rather see them take a scorer like Ross, Lamb, Rivers (assuming MKG or Barnes is the pick at 4).SportsAndLady;1213718 wrote:I don't think P Jones is going to be a total bust..but I don't think he'll be good enough to be worthy of a top 15 pick. My point is the cavs are in a position where they need to see all of their top picks producing or at least developing right away...whereas a team like the thunder can afford to not see production until year 2 or 3 from their top picks. No thanks on Perry.Wooball;1213769 wrote:I'm not sure that he would have much pressure right away in Cleveland. Pick6I'm not a fan of Jones, but I wouldnt mind the pick if guys I want are off of the board. He has a good upside, thats what the experts say anyways.

Midstate01Would you give av for #2 and then probably have to bring back Thomas from the bobcats? I'd do it.
Also being talked about that av could be in play for the #7 pick. If you make that deal you'd have 2 picks in top 7! I'd really like that one. -

In that cases we could end up with Barnes and beal which would be amazing -

No because we'd give them #4 too. But if we didn't do that deal and dealt Andy for #7. We could get Barnes and lamb. That'd be awesome! -

That's what I meant if we traded for 7. If we get beal I want Barnes then. Lamb and beal play the same position. I would be intrigued at possibly Drummond at 7 also -
KR1245Sounds like the Cavs might be after #12

Would probably have to give up 24, 33, and 34 for that.KR1245;1214334 wrote:Sounds like the Cavs might be after #12 -

Straight up??? That would be a great deal for Cavs. On a side note, if Beal and MKG are off the board they should take T Rob over Barnes.hangonsloopy;1214364 wrote:Rumor is it's for Andy. -
Midstate01RT @Chris_Broussard: sources: Cavs offering 4, 24 and 33 picks for Charlotte's 2 and 31 picks
Not crazy about it. I'd rather just take Barnes. -

I can't find the tweet cause I've read so many, but all it said was Andy was in talks for the 7th or 12th pick. Didn't say if anything else was.slingshot4ever;1214369 wrote:Straight up??? EDIT: found it......@Chris Broussard: Cleveland has discussed dealing Anderson Varejao for No. 7 (Warriors) and No. 12 (Rockets) Twitter -

It sounds like evrybody is in love with Beal, I wouldnt have a problem with it -
Pick6I have a feeling the Cavs are going to pull something off. Any combination of Beal/MKG/Drummond/Barnes/Lamb/Rivers and I will be pretty damn ecstatic.

Definitely. I don't why either of those teams would do that but I hope they do.Midstate01;1214376 wrote:I'd do that allll day -
sleeperI'll be happy if we get Beal or MKG. Barnes would be my next choice after that.

Commander of AwesomeAccording to Ford, the deal with the Cavs is happening.

KR1245If this pick is Beal he's ours
