Do the Browns draft RGIII?

IggyPride00Not a chance. Pat Shurmur would be cluesless on how to handle an unconventional QB like that.
He has shown himself far too ideologically rigid to adapt to a QB's talents instead of force feeding his system even if it isn't in the teams best interests. -
zach24ozI would like to have him, but I dont think the Browns take him. I think they take the best available WR for their 1st pick and then a LB with their 2nd 1st rd pick.
-
ytownfootballHe still has a year of eligibility and has yet to announce his intentions as far as I know.
-
thedynasty1998He seems like the kind of guy that would return to school, ala Luck. I'm a huge fan of Barkley, but lately have become more and more of a RG3 fan.
-
MulvaHe's already graduated and now won the Heisman. I don't know if his stock is going to get any higher, or what more there is to accomplish at Baylor. I expect him to enter the draft.
-
ytownfootballBarkley has filed the paperwork, of course it doesn't mean he is going for certain, but it's the initial step that needs taken for juniors. I don't know that RGIII has, or has not.
-
Ironman92He's Cribbs but a better QB.
I like him. -
sleeperIf we can get him in the 2nd round, why not?
-
Pick6
I'd take him in the second round. If one of their first round picks are used to get him, no.sleeper;1010732 wrote:If we can get him in the 2nd round, why not? -
shook_17if he comes out, he will be a first round pick. bank on it. id take him with our second 1st round pick. dude has thee nicest deep ball i have ever seen.
-
thedynasty1998He's a top 10 pick. Plus with his level of intelligence and charisma a few teams will fall in love with him.

He will be long gone...halfway through the first round. RG3 is far>>>> than your boy T Pryor....as a quarterback.Pick6;1010746 wrote:I'd take him in the second round. If one of their first round picks are used to get him, no. -
Commander of AwesomeI hope not.

Pick6
cool, but at least he is a QB.. something you sad would never happen.Footwedge;1010872 wrote:He will be long gone...halfway through the first round. RG3 is far>>>> than your boy T Pryor....as a quarterback. -
WebFireI hope not, for RGIII's sake.

Probably this more than anything. RG3 could be successful as a rookie but not in Shurmur's system.IggyPride00;1010646 wrote:Not a chance. Pat Shurmur would be cluesless on how to handle an unconventional QB like that.

hopefully they fire shurmurs ass over this concussion debacle.BR1986FB;1011013 wrote:Probably this more than anything. RG3 could be successful as a rookie but not in Shurmur's system. -
MulvaI think RGIII could succeed in most systems. Mobility is a plus in the WCO, and while he has the arm strength to make big throws, he also has the accuracy and intelligence (decision making and discipline) to not make mistakes.
I still think there are 5-6 positions that need to be filled more than QB, but QB is a need going forward as well, so if they believe he's the guy I wouldn't be completely opposed to the move. I don't think the Browns make it though. -
WriterbuckeyeI doubt he'll be there when the Browns pick (assuming he comes out). I expect him to blow up even more during workouts before the draft.
Whether he would fit or not in Shurmur's system is up for debate, but I think it'll be a moot point, regardless. -

At this point, the Browns need to draft BPA regardless of position, with the exception of LT, C, and DT. I would be ecstatic if the Browns got RGIII. This may be against the grain, but I honestly think that in 4 years and if he comes out, he'll be the best QB to have come out of this draft. -

Read something this morning that there are some scouts that believe that as well. Those scouts are in the minority, but he has a ton of upside. Luck is very good, but he seems almost too polished. Is he already close to his maximum potential?Fabio;1011213 wrote:At this point, the Browns need to draft BPA regardless of position, with the exception of LT, C, and DT. september63No. Too many other needs in Cleveland. However, Id take Andrew Luck, but surely he will be gone by the time we have a selection.

shook_17^^ right and suffer another year with a shitty qb. if they think barkley, luck or rg3 is the answer they will take them.
