IF you want to base your viewing pleasure on ratings, then be my guest. now go fuck yourself
the majority of america obviously disagrees with you, dumb shit. I know thats hard for you to comprehend.

I dont care if america likes cricket. IMO, hockey is the best playoff. I know that's hard for you to comprehend, but please post a link to something about ratings so I can not give a shit. If we were going by your logic, then you would be wrong about TP playing qb in the nfl becuase the majority of america disagrees with you. dumbass

Football is far and away my favorite sport. Hockey has the best playoffs and watching a hockey game in person is the best spectator sport.

I'm a Blue Jackets season ticket holder...what are these playoffs ye speaketh of?

Since the league started seeding the entire conference 1-8 in 1994 titles by seed are:

    #1: 6
    #2: 5
    #3: 3
    #4: 2
    #5: 1
    #6: 0
    #7: 0
    #8: 0

8 over 1 upset has happened 9/34 times since 1994 (26.5%). There's obviously a lot more parity in the NHL than the NBA, but the lower seeds still aren't a real threat to win anything.
I wonder what it would be if they didnt rearrange the brackets each round. The 8 seed has to play the best remaining team each round (which I agree with), but I wonder if it was like the other sports if they may win a little more.

The one and done is what gives the NFL playoffs the edge.

When the "best" playoff is referred to there are two different things. Although a sport can cover both in the case of this poll I don't think they do.

The most effective at entertaining me is the NFL because of it's "one & done" creating an immediacy in the impact of the game, half, quarter and play.

The most effective playoff at proving a champion I think is Hockey and the NBA... just based on the series concept and the number of teams it puts in.

You sound like an idiot...i know the majority of the country doesn't watch hockey, doesn't mean hockey playoffs aren't the most intense and fun to watch to a lot of people. Seems like you can't wrap your mind around something so simple.

IMO Hockey is the best to watch, then final 4 (even though it's NCAA) then Football.

If it was the best to watch...then more people would watch the Stanley Cup compared to the NBA Finals...correct?

Now who sounds like an idiot?

This. Every game is a Game 7.

    Hockey...easily.

I was a huge fan growing up. Now I just follow it casually during the regular season, but I always tune into the playoffs. The game becomes even more physical in the post season and the amount of games it takes to win it all is crazy. The action and hits are what makes it.

Next would be March Madness, followed by the NFL playoffs.

    You're a sheep.

And you still do. I don't watch cricket, but for all i know the playoffs could be amazing. Maybe you should be more open minded.

Ratings have nothing to do with if anything is the best.

I know a ton of people who hate hockey so they dont watch. But they even acknowledge the NHL has the best playoffs and the most intense. I dont understand why you dont get this.

I also hate the way the NBA is set up (too many teams) and I think MLB playoffs are boring and as all get out. Not a big enough step up from regular season, but I still watch them. I guess I skew the ratings since I watch but dont like it.

That a lot, or even a majority, of people has a particular opinion doesn't mean it's right either.

How so? If it were the best, most entertaining, wouldnt the Stanley Cup draw more than 1/5 or 1/6 of the viewers an NBA Finals game? Why do people choose to watch basketball over hockey if hockey is more entertaining to watch? I dont watch a baseball game during the regular season, but i'll watch some playoffs and the Worlds Series because I think its great.

No not at all. Since when does BEST = MOST ENTERTAINING or MOST WATCHED??? Majority of people dont like hockey, so the ratings wont be there. Doesnt mean it isnt the best system. Jesus. Like, they arent even that closely related to mix up???

By your thought process, Soccer is BY FAR the best sport. No other sport can even compete. None at all. Im sure you dont feel tha way and venture to say, like most on here, soccer sucks.
