These teams might combine for 25 Ks today.

Thats without Tomlin getting another K....smh.

I'm glad nothing has changed from the last 2 weeks. The pitchers can't come out and put a zero on the board after the offense puts up a run.
  • Wooball
    This is seriously comical
  • Wooball
Tomlin's streak of pitching 5 innings or more gets snapped by.... the offensive juggernaut Seattle Mariners.
  • royal_k
Our starting pitchers have joined our hitters....turning to garbage.

Seriously, how do you let the Mariners smack you around?
  • vball10set
thanks God I'm not watching this....what's the score now?
  • Wooball
    6-2 Mariners
  • Laley23
We actually got 2 more runs that I thought today, but Tomlin picked a great time to blow ass. 6-2 now.

Congrats to him on the amazing 5 IP streak to start his career though. It has to make you lol that Seattle is blowing their wad on the collective Tribe faces. This offense is PATHETIC, and they are killing us.

    Some fun #'s
Kyle Seager entered this series hitting .224. He now is at .304. Has gone 9-12 w/ 1 HR, 5 doubles, 2 RBI, 4 runs
    Trayvon Robinson entered yesterday w/ a .250 average. He left yesterday going 6-9 w/ 2 runs, 3 RBI and a .321 average

From Elias: The Mariners defeated the Indians in the second game of their Tuesday doubleheader, 12-7, ending Seattle's streak of 102 straight games scoring fewer than 10 runs. Last year the Mariners finished the season with a streak of 120 games scoring in single digits. No other American League team has had a streak of 100-plus games scoring fewer than 10 runs in one season since the 1984 Orioles had a 103-game streak.

They are on their way for consecutive double digit offensive outputs.

And the tribe successfully left another runner at 3rd w/ less than 2 outs.

    Go browns!

For the 10,000 time this season. This team is terrible at putting the ball in play when needed. And that's just one of their many deficiencies.

Manning used the injury excuse during last night's telecast--IMO, the fragility of this team is embarrassing, and their conditioning regimen really needs to be addressed--it's pathetic.
  • bases_loaded
Choo, Drubs, Hafner, sizemore, brantley....pretty hard to win without those guys
  • Glory Days
can we just have the mercy rule and call it a day. this is pathetic.
  • OQB
And the train is falling off the tracks......SMH

NOW, in saying that I think we all can sit back and remember during preseason....if this team was at or near .500 baseball come September we would all be happy. 2012/2013 is suppose to be the year we honestly and truely will contend and this year was just another step towards that goal. This team has a 2-3 year window opening of contending and the front office knows that and it will make it interesting this offseason to see what moves they make...because we all know they HAVE to make moves.

I'm going up to the game on Friday so I hope they can turn it around and end the season on a positive note.

no shit--that's my point---they're fragile (and that's not an Italian word)

Those are the key players this team is built around along with Masterson Tomlin, and now Kipnis and Chisenhall
  • Glory Days

Welp, it finally happened. Below .500. Blah.
  • vball10set
hey, we can still play the spoiler role---"anyone but the ChiSox" can be our new rallying cry ;)

It's only fitting former Reds legend Wily Mo finished off the Tribe after you guys got your panties in a bunch about who started this thread.
