    You guys are headed the right direction though. Ubaldo will be around for a few years. Worst case scenario you can flip him to the Yankees or Red Sox for a nice haul after this season during their annual arms race

    Yeah, we get him for 3.5 years. But Im not sure his production (+our 5th starter) will be better than Pomeranz + White over the years. Thats the best way to make the trade comparable, and I see Colorado as being beneficiaries. The thing that would help the Tribe is if Ubaldo helps us win the Central THIS YEAR.

    They just said on ESPN that we've got him for 3 years after this year.

    I do agree with this. I'd much rather see an aggressive front office than one that sits back and watches us slip under .500 without doing a thing. At least they're trying. That's new for us Indians fans...

    Yeah I understand next year, but this year is more what I was talking about. Especially when Choo returns and then when/if Grady returns as well
