Carlos Beltran to the Indians?

lhslep134Laley, btw you named 3 teams that didn't win the World Series. I'm totally against giving up top prospects if we don't have a good enough team to win the World Series, and I just don't see us getting there this year.

I'm much more ok with things if people do it to someones face. No translation needed. I dont think im a bigger man and I also dont think I have a stick in my ass . Carry on.
How would you suggest I do it? Find Lhslep, so I can tell him what i intend to post is going to be a stereotypical joke toward jewish people? SMH. Ok, well if I ever see you in person, I will bring a jewish friend along and hit him with every jewish joke in the book. -

I agree, I dont think this team has the talent to win the WS as it stands right now. -

What do you consider top prospects.
Of these players who would you not consider trading:
Kipnis
Chizz
Phelps
Huff
McCallister
Gomez
Carrasco
Tomlin
Mills
White
Pomeranz
Just for reference -

Haha, I know you're joking, you're a joking kinda guy, I've realized that through time on here, so I didn't take any offense to it, only the original statement by Crimson because I incorrectly thought the was saying it with vitriol, whereas I know you're joking. -

Gun to my head, I keep Chizz, Kipnis, Carrasco, White, Pomeranz.
Gomez, Mills, Tomlin, McCallister I wouldn't give up unless it was a pretty good deal, and then Huff and Phelps I'm fine with trading.
Just don't trade Bryson Myles! -

I agree witih Joel here, though I would be open to dealing Carrasco.lhslep134;837759 wrote:Gun to my head, I keep Chizz, Kipnis, Carrasco, White, Pomeranz.

It was a joke. Do I think all Jews are cheap? Of course not I'm not dumb. As for the prospects I would keep. Drew white chiz and Kipnis any one else I would be open for trade -

What if the mets were willing to offer wright. Would you get rid of chizz? -

Crimson streakYes definitely he's a proven all star where chiz is still a question mark

I know, all I was saying is, because I'm not familiar enough with you as a poster, I had no idea if it was jokingly or with vitriol. I was wrong. -

Yeah i was joking. When I get on a rant I just say whatever is on my mind at the time lol -

Most fans would say yes, but my blind loyalty towards Chisenhall is the reason I say no lol. I've waited too long since his first AB with MV too see him play in the majors for another team. -
karen lotzBuster_ESPN Buster OlneyEducated guess on Beltran talks, as of today: I think ATL is the frontrunner, 2. SF. ATL has nice range of P prospects, like Mike Minor.
-
lhslep134Karen, who would ATL be giving up? I'm not familiar with their farm system outside of Vizcaino.
-
karen lotzI'm not sure who they will be willing to part with but they do have a lot of good young arms as Buster noted in the tweet. Mike Minor is a solid lefty that has made a handful of starts this year for Atlanta. They do have 2 or 3 that should be untouchable...Julio Teheran, Jairo Asencio, and Vizcaino. Maybe Rodrigo Lopez? Randall Delgado? Outside of Teheran, Minor is the most MLB ready. If they are still looking at moving Lowe I'm not sure they can give Minor up either. Not sure if the Mets are looking strictly at pitching prospects or not. I'd think all position players would be available except for SS Tyler Pastornicky.

According to a source familiar with the pursuit of Beltran, the Mets may try to pry Randall Delgado or Arodys Vizcaino from the Braves, although obtaining either prospect appears overly ambitious.
Both are pitching at Double-A Mississippi. Vizcaino is the Braves' No. 3 prospect (No. 47 overall), and Delgado No. 4 (No. 50 overall), on ESPN Insider Keith Law's rankings list. -
SportsAndLadyThe braves #3 prospect is #47 overall?...damn
-
ohiobucks1I'm not sure how much stock I take into his rankings though...Chizz is ranked 47th and is the Indians #1 prospect, I think we should have a few guys higher...although what do I know lol
-
lhslep134
Those are old rankings. In the new rankings Law has Vizcaino and Teheran back to back at 11 and 12. Pretty damn impressive, should make them untouchable.

For Tribe fans, Pomeranz comes in at 35 and Kipnis is 49th (although he's in majors now lol). -

At the end of May he had Chisenhall at #20.
