OSH
It's been the talk for quite some time now. He's riding off into the sunset from Chelsea.chicago510;1178957 wrote:Wait what? Why?
He's on the tail end of his career. He'll go to China (or Russia or Qatar) for some big bucks. He'll play for a couple of years and be done. I'd be really surprised if he comes to the MLS ever. It's all about getting some change now and relaxing more. -
MulvaThose Barca uniforms are straight awful.

The home kit is ok, but the away kit is beyond horrible.Mulva;1178998 wrote:Those Barca uniforms are straight awful. -

The whole kit isn't pictured there either...hoops23;1179060 wrote:The home kit is ok, but the away kit is beyond horrible.
If you haven't seen it, the shorts and socks are yellow too -- so it fades all the way down to yellow on the remainder of the kit. As I read elsewhere, it's like looking into the sun's rays and burning your eyes. -

SportsAndLadyThe blue/red's aren't bad. The yellow/orange's are fucking terrible.

Agreed....light ones are hideous.SportsAndLady;1179280 wrote:The blue/red's aren't bad. The yellow/orange's are fucking terrible.
I'd like to see a black alternate again. -

I just don't like the blue/red because of the fade. Why not keep their traditional vertical striping?SportsAndLady;1179280 wrote:The blue/red's aren't bad. The yellow/orange's are ****ing terrible. -
Laley23I like the home, but the away are terrible.
But then again, I thought I hated a few alternates recently and ended up liking them. Ill wait till I see the whole team in them. -
AutomatikI just read an article saying David Villa is definitely out for the Euro. That sucks. He's one of my favorite players.

That was such a big loss for Barca this season, and now for Spain. Chelsea and Madrid, you are welcomeAutomatik;1179514 wrote:I just read an article saying David Villa is definitely out for the Euro. That sucks. He's one of my favorite players.
But a broken leg in December?...Im not surprised. They said 6 months initially. -
MulvaI've thought Germany over Spain for a long time, since before Villa went down. I think the Dutch might be my 2nd choice over Spain at this point.

OSHCrew got a HUGE win last night in Seattle. That means they got 4-points on this road trip. Home game on Saturday.
Justin Meram has been a big reason for the Crew's successes of late, he's scored a goal in 3 straight games -- and all beauties too! -

I can't wait for the start. I hear a lot of people picking Germany.Mulva;1179914 wrote:I've thought Germany over Spain for a long time, since before Villa went down. I think the Dutch might be my 2nd choice over Spain at this point.
I'm pulling for Holland or England (but I'm sure they will disappoint) -
OSHMarco Di Vaio became the first DP for Montreal...announced today.
They needed the help scoring goals. -
Laley23Clint Dempsey looks set to leave Fulham. Being quoted as saying he wants to play in the CL and test himself at that level. And that he is grateful for everything Fulham has done for him in his career.
Looks like Arsenal and Roma head the list. Hopefully it's Arsenal drift TV purposes. -

AutomatikRW for the Gunner please! I think he'd for sure crack their starting 11.

In his form from this year? No doubt. He would be their second best attacking option after RVP, imo. Question is, new style and semi new position, does he keep his current form? I think he can, he has played all over the place and excelled in his career. But he WAS the Fulham attack moving forward from the midfield for much of the year. It wont be the case at Arsenal, or anywhere else really.Automatik;1181717 wrote:RW for the Gunner please! I think he'd for sure crack their starting 11. -
AutomatikArsenal is shaky on the right anyway. I'd like to see Oxlade-Chamberlain solidify that spot, but for some reason he's not always there.
I think he'd be ok on either wing actually. Although, playing further back for the US he has done ok. Like you said, he's versatile, just try and see what works.
I can't tell you how happy it makes me to see him do well. I watched a ton of Fulham matches when he first got there, from his times as a sub to right now. I remember seeing a match after he was a starter for a while. Fulham's entire offense/attack was moving through him. He was touching the ball nonstop and pwning defenders. I thought to myself..."holy shit, he's doing it!!" -

I know. I wish the WC was starting up and not Euros. We finally have a guy playing at a World Class level. Hopefully Jozy and Clint are still playing this well in 2 years.Automatik;1181795 wrote:Arsenal is shaky on the right anyway. Laley23Ugh, still with the Wondo experiment?
Overall, good squad. Will be interestng to see how much Timmy, Landon and Clint play before the WC qualifying matches. Would love to see a full strength squad versus Brazil, but not sure how worth it, it is. -
Laley23Barcelona won the Copa Del Rey today.
They won 14 out of a possible 19 trophies under Pep Guardiola. Ridiculous.
Lionel Messi scored, and finishes the year/season with 73 total goals. Shattering the previous European record. -
